    It's a pretty simple gameplan.

GGG has the superior jab, he hsould use it.

GGG has the superior power, he should use his power punches.

GGG has the superior footwork, he should use that.

He needs to avoid Canelo's looping hooks and uppercuts on the inside, he needs to be patient but still pressure Canelo.

the question should be, what will Canelos plan be?

The jab is GGG's advantage. He will try to keep Canelo at a distance and beat him down with a jab. Once Canelo is wilting , the old lion kills the young lion. Canelo has a good jab and great speed so it's possible Golovkin might not have such an easy night....BUT, Canelo will feel the damage whenever he finds himself on the ropes. Saul better hope that he lands a hellish counter punch or manages to make it to the end of the fight without looking too bad. Canelo has developed into an excellent fighter so anything is possible.

You beta all talking bull Willy krap

Every fight GGG ever had he just attacks. He doesn't even move his head. He doesn't do defense. After all he's never really needed to because his punches absolutely kill people. Even if he doesn't get the ko usually the opponent is mentally toast by round 6/7 and he coasts to a decision

I buy that he wasn't his best against Jacobs but I don't think this will be easy for Canelo. Just look at last night, he couldn't even make Julio flinch. Canelo is a Tactical fighter he's a points fighter. Golovkin will knock him spark out

But this time I feel like Golovkin bit off more that he can chew. Tried shoes that doesn't fit. Ended up in the wrong neighborhood. Got in the wrong cab with no driver. In other words he's ****ed up.

Judges won't give him a decision in a close fight, that's for sure and he can't KO Canelo either - this mother****er has good chin and can recover fast

So what would be better gameplan for Golovkin? Get cautious and defensive like he did against Lemieux and keep Canelo at the tip of his jab? Or turn it into a brawl like Brook's fight, hoping to break Canelo's will?
The right thing to do is: being an ANIMAL and BODYWORK, BODYWORK, BODYWORK, BODYWORK.

Is Canelo younger than Gennady? Well, then! ---> The right game plan is: being an animal and BODYWORK, BODYWORK, BODYWORK, BODYWORK.... being a BODYSNATCHER... being an ANIMAL!

Once Canelo puts his hands down, Gennady will FINISH him. Listen to me, brother. Once you put your hands down you are very vulnerable to the left hooks coming from the right side. So what are you going to do with that? Switching stances? Like Jacobs? HELL... Jacobs is a good guy, he is a warrior, but... he was much heavier than Gennady, he was much fresher (because he missed the second-day weigh-in) and he was even BIGGER than Gennady... but (!) all Danny did was ---> surviving. Yes! Surviving! Danny knows it.

            It will be DISASTER.

YES, Canelo has decent hand speed but nothing special... nothing, imo. Floyd showed it. Canelo's footwork is AWFUL. Gennady will end Canelo's career. Please, do not get me wrong. Canelo will continue fighting, but after THAT fight he will never be the same boxer that he used to be. PERIOD. Gennady will broke Canelo... not physically, but mentally. Mark my words, guys. No excuses then, ok?

The right game plan is PAIN. The right thing to do is BODYWORK. My prediction is: Gennady will win. KO/TKO,round8.
            Sincerely yours. FashionTV. PERIOD.

I agree with your post but canelo is a superior counter puncher. I think his counters are going to be really important. He had to make GGG think twice.

Yep pressure and dig the body, turn it into a violent fight. Canelo fights in spurts and takes time off. Make it a dogfight for as long as it lasts. Canelo's chin and defence is solid so he'll have to push him to extreme fatigue before going head hunting.

He's gonna take a lot of leather so the big question is, does Canelo punch harder than Jacobs?

Canelo is a very fast counter puncher especially at middleweight, he'll counter GGG's similar to Brook. He'll end up having to drag a dog fight out of it.
