This fight was a farce. It was made even more obvious as to why Chavez tanked when they announced the GGG fight right after.
With such a lucrative fight signed before this fight began , there was no way Chavez would be allowed to cut or beat Canelo up. Therefore he took a payoff just to show up.
Peolple saying Canelo looked fantastic are delusional, he gassed himself out with no help from Chavez.
How is he going to fare when he gasses mid fight and the opponent is still throwing bombs ?
    Well you do the math.

Indeed! Reyes was seriously tagged by a beast, but didn't give up and didn't complain I hope he recovers without serious damage.

Are you saying the fight was fixed? That is a serious charge. If you have evidence, share it with the Nevada A.G. If you don't and are simply babbling, don't embarrass yourself. It reflects badly on your parents.

Yet, that was Nacho's game plan. Which leads me to believe Nacho knew Jr was overmatched and sent him out there to take as little punishment as possible and live to fight another day.

I doubt Jr had that mindset going in. I'm sure he came to win. But it was clear early he wasn't gonna outbox Canelo. And his only chance was to sellout and go for broke. But he got hit with something that let him to believe getting pot shot'd to an embarrassing decision loss was better than getting flattened. I honestly believe that if this fight happen pre-Fonfara, we see a different. Jr has always been an iron chinned, take two or three to land a big one. Once a fighter like that has his chin cracked the first time. Its often very tough for them to mentally throw caution to the wind the way they used to.
It was clear this is what Nacho did. I think that early on in training, Nacho realized JCC Jr. didn't have a shot against a such a polished fighter at the top of his game like Canelo and he developed a strategy to mitigate punishment taken by Jr.

Geez, those cops in your video sure couldn't wait to kick and punch a 'runner', after he'd been thrown from a moving vehicle. Talk about azzholeozz. He!!, if the guy wasn't dead already, he's likely dead now. SMDH

Yeah, between being at a weight too low for him to function properly, being weak, and the Fonfara fight, I think Jr just needs to fight mid level competition at LHW for a few years, then retire. He could still make good paychecks. He simply isn't a good enough boxer though, to be taking on any top guys.

Jr is an embarassment. He probably just took this fight for the paycheck and busted his ass to make weight just for the extra money. Dude showed no heart or fight yesterday literally fought like a scared ***** for a paycheck.
