Go read my past posts and I predicted this exactly. Chavez picked up 3 million to lose weight and take a beating. Now he can move up to 175 and fight more bums.

I was wrong. I thought Chavez would put up a fight and maybe even win. Chavez simply didn't throw punches

Chavez lacks heart and balls and is a soft lazy punk spoiled kid

Chavez Jr. is a soft weak heartless nothing. Everyone in boxing knew Chavez would roll over and quit inside. DUH?

Now the excuses start he wasn't in the fight from the time you signed the contract... will have whatever he made last night blown and three years and then he'll come back again... what a pathetic excuse for a fighter...

I am SHOCKED! Shocked, I say, that Chavez Jr. would make excuses and more than that blame others for his shameful performance.

Jr. should have displayed half the courage of Marcos Reyes who refused to quit despite the beat down that he received from Lemieux. That man is a real Mexican.

"Nacho told me to do that but the strategy didn't work. The speed and the distance was the key. I didn't feel that much power because I felt dwindled, I couldn't throw as many punches as I wanted."

We all knew this would be the case when the catchweight was signed. Chavez is mediocre when he's not drained, and evidently completely useless when he is. Pointless fight, just an over-expensive promo for the Golovkin fight
