See I hate liars first using the current UK vs Dollar exchange 20 in UK is $25.97 exactly. so $26 PPVS would need over 2.7m UK PPV buys to match the money 1m US PPVS sold generates at $70 a ppv. Second come on don't lie about ticket prices and live gates

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/341453...klitschko/amp/

"With Wembley packed to its 90,000 capacity, gate revenue from tickets that ranged from £60 up to £2,200 is calculated to be in the region of £8m."

The live gate was only did £8m. But thanks for playing. Canelo Cotto did live gate over 12m chavez fight has same ticket prices but new bigger t-mobile venue that holds over 20k seats. Meaning it will shatter the live gate of cotto fight and substantially higher then joshua. Why because UK has cheap tickets compared to Vegas.

    http://www.espn.com/blog/dan-rafael/...nevada-history

Alvarez won by unanimous decision to take the title, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Nov. 21 generated a live gate of $12,470,200 from 10,198 tickets sold.

i dont think so because linares was on stage at the canelo vs chavez weigh in yesterday right next to oscar.... Oscar is the one blocking the mikey garcia vs linares fight... I favor mikey in that fight... Oscar knows linares could be knocked out in that fight so he told mikey he will have to sign a long term deal with golden boy to get a shot at linares lol... Mikey said no thanks to long term contracts

A fight with GGG makes more then chavez and likely more money then any fight joshua will ever make especially if he stays in the UK. I know you guys all giddy over records set in the UK but none of those numbers even crack what floyd, manny and now canelo generate in vegas. Again the tickets sold cost almost 10x more and the ppvs are sold for over 3X more. So for joshua to match the revenue from a typical 1m big PPV in vegas he would need to sell 3.5m UK PPVS and sell 140,000 tickets. Do they build stadiums that big in the UK? He'd have to come to the states to get that money or you need to flip the entire UK price model and charge more for tickets and ppvs and see if UK fans go for that.
I understand your logic but ya just not applicable to AJ. He's nothing in America compared to the names you've listed. Could a vegas fight for AJ generate 1million US PPV buys, absolutely not.

The fact is Joshua will make more money in the UK than he could in America. Just because Floy, manny and canelo make more than that, doesn't mean Joshua will.

Aj needs to stay away from daddy Oscar or he'd find himself fighting at catch weights for the rest of his career fighting bums, dropping belts, draining fighter's all sorts of ****

Based on the international press and his support in the UK. I think he has that Mayweather thing going. He'll sell around 900k - 1.2 million with a solid fighter. Then break the bank for big time fights in the UK. I could be wrong.

luckily ppv is only 20 pounds there.... I wish ppv was that price here too.. I bet way more people would buy them then... or even $30 would be good

There was a very limited £60 tickets available and i dont know anybody who paid £60 dunny...the cheapest tickets you could actually get were £115 from stubhub as most of the cheap tickets were purchased by these resale site....i know 10 people that went to this fight and each of them paid £250 each.....even at £60 its not really a fair representative of how much people had actually paid....£8 million is over £10 million dollars anyway and never even mentioned canelo cotto...i'm talking about this fight canelo vs chavez jnr and you clearly stated it will do double the amount than the joshua vs klitschko...joshua vs klitscko smashed the 1.5 million ppv buys that was set by mayweather vs pacquaio .....im not saying it wont do more but it will not do double and ill wager with you on it
