That is the reason for the lawsuit. He wasnt a superstar then. Golden boy built him from a prospect to star from the ground up. Schaefer was nothing more then a day to day guy they are dime a dozen. Fighters signed with golden boy because of oscar. He was the face of the company. Top young fighters wanted to sign because of that. You could of had bozo the clown running the day to day and they would be fine because of Oscar. You now have gomez running the ship for oscar and they still fine even after losing a ton of their roster they signed up a ton of top prospects over the last 2 years.

Canelo and none of the young kids signed because if Schaefer.
