Golden boy built him from a prospect to star from the ground up. He signed because of oscar not schaefer he's said this himself plenty of times. And when the company split he stayed with oscar. If schaefer was so important to him he would of left. Clearly he made the right decision because hes bigger the ever. And the so called brains has his own company now why ain't those old golden boy fighters signing with him?

Schaefer was nothing more then a day to day guy they are dime a dozen. Fighters signed with golden boy because of oscar. He was the face of the company. Top young fighters wanted to sign because of that. You could of had bozo the clown running the day to day and they would be fine because of Oscar. You now have gomez running the ship for oscar and they still fine even after losing a ton of their roster they signed up a ton of top prospects over the last 2 years.
Canelo and none of the young kids signed because if Schaefer. Just like if Mayweather promotions signs someone they ain't signing because of Leonard Ellerbe lol they signing because they look up to Floyd, want to be part of his movement, want to be the next Floyd. That's why canelo signed to golden boy and not another promoter all those years ago. Stop trying to give that snake credit for shyt he had nothing to do with.
