Once they say they want to fight, they have thirty days after that to negotiate terms," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"If they can’t come to an agreement, then it goes to a purse bid. And once it goes to a purse bid, all of it is handled within WBC rules, as far as the winning bid, the percentages to each fighter. It’s already on paper, WBC rules are going to govern that."

Canelo vacated so WBC couldn't given s.hit! Why would Canelo give bbb side 45%? He doesn't bring in the type of money that makes him deserve that split,.. easy call for team Canelo. At his level it isn't about belts anymore. Money talks f.uck a title

These guys full well know the attention span of boxing fans is absolute shhh so they are trying to pivot the focal point of discussion. This was not a new lawsuit, this is a lawsuit that had been ongoing for quite some time, when you were awarded the fight for the belt you were also made aware of the terms in full. Your litigator do not negotiate fights that's Eric Gomez's job, and he wasn't a defendant in the case. There had been ongoing negotiations with K2 even before Cotto came into the fold. Neither side is clean here but come down to 155 is the reason this fight didn't happen. When GBP couldn't get that they handed over the belt. These are the facts, this is the reality, END OF STORY.

I remember reading here how that law suit had been postponed several times to accommodate Canelo's fight schedule and the court was willing to wait till his mandatory defence against GGG was done before calling him in.

It was only after Canelo relinquished his title and pulled out of fighting GGG that the court date was set, so this is just more lies and misinformation from Canelo and his team.

They are banking on the ******ity and gullibility of Canelo's fan base allowing them to get away with crap like this.

Have you any evidence that Golovkin was trying to get 45% from Canelo for a fight at 160lbs?

If not, shut up about it.

Only ****** people don't see that the real reasons this fight didn't happen back then is because bbb wanted 45% of split at full 160... bbb should've negotiated as the bbb side and met Canelo somewhere in the middle. That's the truth

I don't know who or what bbb is, so let's just talk about Golovkin and Canelo.

Golovkin wasn't asking for 45% of the purse and nothing was ever said about that at the time. It's just something that has been invented by Bscene flomos, aka #48 (average IQ) team who are always looking for ways to rewrite history to discredit Golovkin.

Unable Sanchez was quoted as saying he wouldn't move bbb an ounce from 160... they bet their money that canelo would not vacate and they would then have 45%... stop playing dumb

bbb is ggg triple b because to Canelo, he is b side. I'm not discrediting bbb. I'm just stating why Canelo vacated, and it wasn't to "duck" triple b, it was because the WBC stated if they fight was not agreed upon in 14 days, then it would go to purse bid and bbb would get 45%... bbb and his team, that was their lottery ticket, trying to hit jack pot but when Canelo vacated, they were left looking like fools and no money lol.

Not moving from 160 is only a part of what you keep claiming.

I'll ask you again .. have you any evidence that GGG was trying to get 45% from Canelo?

Evidence of .. GGG trying to force a purse bid by refusing to negotiate on the money and asking the WBC for more than the 30% he would have got from a bid.
