Comments Thread For: De La Hoya Backs Canelo's Decision To Reject The WBC Belt

Simply put - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez feels betrayed by the World Boxing Council. He thinks it was unfair at how the sanctioning body treated him when he was the WBC middleweight champion last year. Canelo claims the organization tried to bully him into making a rapid decision on a mandatory defense against Gennady Golovkin.

If this is an attempt to make you look any less of a pu**y than you already do... It's not working!! If anything you look more like a little b1tch now, and a huge crybaby on top of it. How could you not be in court and make a decision to fight someone that you already told the world you would fight right there on the spot... Does "we don't **** around" ring a bell?? Go back to getting swaddled and cuddled by little fishnets, Canela is the biggest embarrassment to Mexican boxing heritage!!!

Canelo is a lying piece of shit, cant believe what fear of GGG does to that Mexican coward:

"There is an order that I have a copy of, that was signed by all parties concerned. Golden Boy, the Canelo group, K2 and Gennady signed it, and it says they have fifteen days after Canelo’s fight to say whether they want to fight or not. Once they say they want to fight, they have thirty days after that to negotiate terms," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

"If they can’t come to an agreement, then it goes to a purse bid. And once it goes to a purse bid, all of it is handled within WBC rules, as far as the winning bid, the percentages to each fighter. It’s already on paper, WBC rules are going to govern that."

So now it's the WBC's fault that the title was vacated. Alvarez should leave the PR to Oscar.
Oscar's not a good liar , but he's better at it than Alvarez.

Mayweather fought Cotto knowing that he was going to jail afterwards. He also fought through lawsuits etc.

Are you ****ing ******?? How is he gonna agree to a fight when he didn't even know who his promoter was gonna be come September. Remember at the time Zabala was saying he wanted his fighter back and that it wasn't about the money. Of course we know now it's all bullshet cause now he's asking for his money but at the time he wanted Canelo back. So why would you agree to a huge fight when you didn't even know who your promoter was gonna be. Think about it!

No one is mentionning Cotto’s refusal to pay the full WBC sanctioning fee anymore.

After being b-ttfu--ed by one diva over money, the WBC was sure not going to be played again by another diva over weight and catchweight shjt.

This new spin sounds more to me like a preemptive attemp at ducking the current WBC Champ. than anything else.
