Vitali was better... He was stopped twice from injuries (while he was in front on the scorecards).

Based on resume would deffo put Wlad above, he fought the better fighters and was the more dominant champion but I 100% feel Vitali was a notch above Wlad as a fighter

Wlad is techinically better, resume craps on Vitali's and was a longer reigning champion.

The both of their resumes are virtually the same. They are from the same era. The Klitscko's dominated the worst and I mean worst era of Heavyweights in history. Void of talent, depth and competition. Ironically their best performances came in losses to Anthony Joshua and Lennox Lewis.

I say Vitali was the better "fighter" because between the two, he was tougher, had the better jaw. The better champion is Wladimir for me, but between the two Vitali was the better "fighter", he had more grit.

I mean they're both good. Just my opinion on what I think of the two.

Wlad fought all of the top contenders and Vitali only fought about 5 people that were in the top 10 his whole career. So not really.

They both have their fair share of bums, as does any champion, but Vitali's basically made up of entirely bums and severely overmatched competition and cruiserweights, whereas Wlad actually fought the top contenders and other champions.

Vitaly for sure. He was a natural fighter.

The only thing that made it the "worst" era ever for you is the fact that it wasn't an American or British fighter at the top of the mountain.

Now that Joshua, Wilder, and Fury are the top guys everybody believes we are in a heavyweight revival. It is absolutely delusional.

The weakest eras ever were the Larry Holmes and Joe Louis eras and those two are regarded as the greatest of all time. I wonder why that is.

Wlad was overall, you can't argue with his longevity and title defenses but...Vitali was the better fighter or I'll say I prefer Vitali over Wlad. Vitali had a mean streak, Wlad was skilled and powerful but his style bored me.

Vitali retired far earlier then wlad. Wlad had nearly 70 fights and faced much better competition overall. In terms of mythical matchups Vitali will do better but wlad is better more skillful and accomplished

Vitali by a mile. Won or was winning every fight he was in. Never had the hell beat out of him. The war with Lewis was a classic. He would have beaten him without the cut and was beating him. Lost very few rounds in his career. What more could he have done?
