The WBC has routinely broken their own rules in how they allow some fighters special treatment (Mayweather, Canelo), while holding others to a higher standard.

Canelo is reaching a point where he feels he is bigger than boxing. Which is a slippery slope because DLH fell into this trap during his career and suddenly found himself on the wrong side of some close decisions. Perhaps Oscar wasn't paying off the right people to ensure he got a fair shake, who knows, but this is just one more example of the shady business dealings of boxing and the endless sanctioning bodies that are ruining the sport with their B.S. titles.
I agree about his father. If his father was still alive he would've told GGG to kick rocks. I think Mauricio has done a great job as WBC president. He's ahead of the curve on the drug testing issue. He's did all he could do to ensure GGG got his shot although the two other belt holders prior were much bigger names who would bring in the WBC more money. He was very fair on the Povetkin issue and gave Povetkin another chance to get his shot. He did the correct thing in calling an immediate rematch for Roman and calling for Cuadras & Estrada. His father would've told Roman to get in line and gave the shot to a Mexican fighter. What has Mauricio done that's so bad? He's not perfect but I see he's making a lot of positive and fair decisions.

The WBC is a disgrace to boxing and the other organisations
cause povetkin wasnt injured and they gave him a second chance.. stiverne is widlers mandatory.. nobody even wants that fight, not even wilder

Believe me, I'd rather see wilder Vs Stiverne 2 than wilder vs your unranked grandmother

Yeah he's trying to unify :blow: Tyson unified all the belts in 9 months and that included a Mando against Thomas. Wilder still has one belt and no mando after 2 and a half years. Sure he's trying to unify. Hahahaahaaaaa
