Canelita's statements pretty much cover up why he rejected the fight with Triple Gift and they are pretty convenient for him.

    I don't

I doubt that I would believe Sulaiman over any fighter

the WBC obviously laid out the red carpet for Golovkin

they should not have demanded such tight negotiation deadlines..... especially considering the fact that Canelo was involved in a legal suit, and also considering the fact that K2 were obviously attempting to force a purse bid to manipulate Canelo...... everyone else saw it, don't say the WBC failed to notice, they behaved like they work for Golovkin

that team just publicly refused 10mil, and are now rumored to have rejected a much improved offer reported to be 15mil..... so Team Bullshht were obviously trying to force the purse bid

the WBC got what they deserved when they tried to dictate unfairly to Canelo

the fanboy line..... "Canelo had months"..... is rubbish

what came before counts for nothing when currently embroiled in a negotiation..... the slate gets wiped clean on the very first day..... or nothing will come from that negotiation..... you deal with now, because that is the only relevant point..... yesterday, will not help during a negotiation

the last word was said by Golovkin to an 8-figure offer

    " no "

he took the easy way out, AGAIN..... just like when they tried to manipulate Canelo, and the WBC helped him do it

Canelo got only to fight Cotto for the belt because he agreed to fight GGG next. GGG has been mandatory for the WBC since 2014. The WBC even said months before Canelo fought Cotto that they have a specific time frame after the fight to negotiate with GGG and Canelo accepted and agreed to fight for the WBC Belt.

Now Canelo thinks he is bigger than the sport and its rules.. this arrogant coward, creating his own weightclasses, ducking fighters, facing Amir Khan, Liam Smith and now unranked Mr Burgerking instead of GGG.

I actually agree with this moron..... on the bold, only

they did lay out the red carpet for Canelo

but then they two-timed Canelo and took Golovkin to the prom LOL

they should have stuck with Canelo, because he will be the last man standing..... and they should have stuck with him because he will fight anyone, IF they are reasonable and REALLY want to fight him

The WBC is a disgrace to boxing and the other organisations

they ignored Klitschko for about a DECADE

simply because he was the WBA champ, like Golovkin is

        ??????????

FACT: when Klitschko was terrorizing heavyweight, beating sometimes similar/sometimes better opposition than Golovkin, the WBC did not rate him..... they didn't want a piece of a dominant heavyweight kingpin..... but then they fell over themselves laying out the red carpet for Golovkin

WBC is the worst of the lot. Sulaiman's dad was a corrupt scumbag, and Mauricio doesn't fall far from the tree. Another money grab belt for sanctioning fees and putting their stink on future matches. The WBC has routinely broken their own rules in how they allow some fighters special treatment (Mayweather, Canelo), while holding others to a higher standard.

Canelo is reaching a point where he feels he is bigger than boxing. Which is a slippery slope because DLH fell into this trap during his career and suddenly found himself on the wrong side of some close decisions. Perhaps Oscar wasn't paying off the right people to ensure he got a fair shake, who knows, but this is just one more example of the shady business dealings of boxing and the endless sanctioning bodies that are ruining the sport with their B.S. titles.

Well, which is why i haven't cared about a triple Gift vs canela fight in a long time.
Before, it was an easy knock out for GGG, as time passes, GGG chances of winning are getting thinner cause of age.

Are you interested in that fight?

yep, I am..... possibly because I suspect that it will stop a lot of nonsense on this site, based on who I think will win

and other than Golovkin/Jacobs II, which will never happen, it is likely the best fight to be made at middleweight now that Canelo has officially moved up
