I'm really curious why the WBC didn't allow Canelo to duck GGG and still keep the strap. You figure the WBC would makes things easy for a Mexican cash cow.

I mean, they gifted him a 154 lbs strap (at his preferred catchweight of 150 lbs) by lining up Matthew Hatton for a vacant title.

I imagine there's a reason the WBC didn't make things easy for Canelo

GGG has been mandatory since 2014 when he knocked out Rubio for the Interim Belt, GGG was mandatory for Maravilla, then Cotto, and when Cotto wanted to face Canelo, the WBC made one last excemption and said the Winner HAS TO FACE GGG NEXT. Canelo agreed, he knew long long before he even fought Cotto, that he has to face GGG next and he agreed, otherwise the belt would have not been on the line for Canelo.

read my original post again, I said all you told me was what hotel you were staying at, no name and no other additional info when I asked. And from jump I said I'd see if I can get there. Never said I'd definitely be there. I looked into the cost and I'm not spending a G just for a flight not even including room and expenses. So if me not doing that makes you feel tough like you won something, then knock yourself out. I know what it is and know that you don't and wouldn't put any fear in me. I've been I'm the ring with pro boxers sparring, I'm not gonna be scared of some guy on a message board.

I make 50 to 60k a year.... pay 1250 a month for rent and 700 for non court ordered child support drink 900 dollars worth of beer+ tobacco.... 500 dollars of eat out. 550 dollars in a 401k. And still have money left over ...wtf
