It seems like he expected the WBC to facilitate his ducking of Golovkin as a national loyalty thing and when they treating him like they would any other fighter -- told him to fight or vacate -- he saw it as some act of betrayal. Funny guy.

So long as they fight in either September or next May who cares? The belts don't mean anything now anyways...there's like 10 belts in a damn weight class. It's literally a participation trophy and a cash-grab.

I'm all for outing these greedy "sanctioning committees"...they ain't do nothing but rob people.

Anyhow, looking forward to the fight

15 days to negotiate a fight is a ****ty deal for sure. At that time Canelo had never fought above 154/155...so giving Canelo only 15 days to get Triple L to sign a career-high payday.

Well it's been a few years and lil G still thinks he's entitled to 50% ("or no fight").

Might as well keep that $300,000++ Fee anyways.

Don't be a dummy, GGG was the mandatory before Canelo even fought Cotto. They knew what was ahead of them and they chose to run away and make excuses.

Loved when Canelo says he was sucking down weight to make 154 in the Chavez face off. Not ready for 160 though ha.
