He knew it, but not everyone else. There was a lot of people who said Mike was only beating bums, and was too young and inexperienced for a "true" boxer like Spinks. Mike had a lot of haters who were looking for Spinks to whoop his azz. Remember, Mike was only 22! Like I've said, no disrespect to AJ, but Tyson beating Spinks like he did was a much bigger moment in boxing history! It's (AJ beating Wlad) just like if Errol Spence Jr. was to KO Manny Pacquiao in 2017! It would be a young lion beating a legend, but it would be expected!

      Good read here:

It was just after 11 P.M. exactly a quarter of a century ago, and Mike Tyson was steaming. "Bam! Bam !" A combination boomed against the dressing room wall. Not against a heavy bag or pads held by a trepidatious trainer...

I like Joshua, he's nice kid but I honestly don't think he is or will be better than Lennox Lewis. Lewis was a more complete fighter and not so robotic and stiff like Joshua. A prime Lewis vs a prime Joshua, Lennox in 4 or 5 rounds.

Go watch Lewis before he got with Manny. He was clumsy as **** and amatuerish. Lewis developed into an ATG, let's give Joshua the same opportunity. On the flip side of what you said, if you put Lewis in his 19th fight against the Joshua we saw in his 19th fight, Lewis gets starched. .

Interesting approach. Likable guy and he's good to watch so he'll probably get whatever credit he does deserve at the end

He was chosen to be a super mega star from the moment he was gifted gold in the olympics.

He has had a gigantic support network and insane good will go his way.

At this point obviously AJ is going to switch trainers, so who's going to correct those mistakes? If his current trainer could he would have fixed them by now. Second I didn't say Lewis after 19 fights, I said a prime Lewis vs a prime AJ because at 27 about to be 28, AJ is in his prime years.
