You guys are getting way ahead of yourselves. Aj looks promising but he isnt in the same conversation as Holyfield/Lewis and the like yet.

You have to take size into consideration one is 4 inches taller and about 40/50 pounds naturally heavier. This in itself is a taller task than someone of a spinks who wasnt known for punching power.

He may become a bigger star (celebrity) than Lewis and Holyfield, not Tyson though.

His boxing skills are not that impressing though. I believe he looked slow and a little clumsy. Lewis/Larry/holyfield at young age were all much more fluent and dynamic in their boxing, much more natural boxers in my opinion. But his size will always be a challenge.

He met a live version of Klitschko, but having seen all fights of klitschko more or less, it was clear it was a faded version. Still a good victory, and I like his honesty and personality.

There's just so much nostalgia around them and that era that's disconnected from reality imo.
            Holyfield, Lewis & Tyson?

No, but he is hard working and fun to watch and brings it every time. I'm not missing any of his fights, thats for sure. Always exciting.

Micheal was a Light Heavyweight that was in over his head. He knew it and so did everyone else. Spinks was one of the best LHWs of all time and one of my favorite fighters but.....

I'm probably Joshua's biggest fan in the US, but we need to pull the reigns back on talk like this. The dude is 19 fights into his career, it ain't time to start talking about how he will stack up to the all time greats. It all goes out the window if he gets KO'd in his next fight. One fight at a time and just let things play out as they may

That version of Wlad, that I saw last weekend, would be no match for Tyson @ age 27 (same as Joshua). In fact had Joshua went to the body early (like Mike would've from "ding") Wlad would've never made it past 5. I'm not trying to throw shade on AJ, I just thought Mike's win was more impressive because Spinks was a good boxer, and he lost at the stare down! It was a bigger moment in boxing history than Joshua beating a 41 yr. old Wlad!
