Last Saturday proves majority of boxing fans are Not Racist.

White people are not racist, but others are. If it had been Fury vs. Klitschko, would there have been a diversity of fans?
Back when I was growing up in Windsor Ontario, I used to go across the bridge to the Red Wings NHL hockey games in Detroit. I never saw a single black fan in the stands. Not even one.Last edited by TonyGe; 05-01-2017, 04:04 PM.Comment

You are a disgrace. Perception determines reality and if you think of yourself as a lowly being then you will be treated as one. Have some confidence and grow some balls kid!!!Comment

You had 90,000 people who were white, black, brown, yellow, or mixed, all screaming their hearts out for AJ to win. People around the world of all colors, ages, genders, nationalities, saw Anthony Joshua as THEIR CHAMPION. And ya'll still wanna cry?
With the exception of a few idiots (one of whom decided to make another video ranting about some imaginary "coincidental list"), the majority of boxing fans around the world were content with seeing an INCREDIBLE FIGHT.
Fact: In this day and age, if you conduct yourself as a true champion in the ring and a real man outside of it, the people will LOVE you, no matter your skin color, age, or nationality. On the other hand, people worldwide naturally despise cheaters, cowards, and braggarts, regardless of race.
If only certain posters on this forum can understand this and stop their cries of "racism"......
Anthony Joshua has a chance to unite the world. I can feel it.

I haven't ever met a white person who is against other races. Many white people hate their own race, while loving everyone else - you could be one of them.
However, I've met a lot of non-Whites who hate white people and other races. Many of the Chinese here in Metro Vancouver despise and avoid black people.
The fact that certain segments of society don't identify with a sport doesn't mean they are racist. It means that hockey isn't relative to them.
Canada has huge racial issues with native people. I'm a Canadian and when I worked out West it was immediately apparent.
They live off our tax money. Free dental, free housing, free higher education. They have a weakness for alcohol, but that's not our fault.Comment

I agree with most people ITT that most boxing fans are not racist. They pay money to see the fights so they want good/exciting fights. And with AJ, that's what they have been getting so far. Props also to Wlad obviously for a tremendous performance and career.
This is the same guy who, despite being a long time boxing fan, has admitted that he never supports any Black fighters anymore. Apparently that's not racist but if Black people don't go to NHL games because they don't follow that sport at all, that is racist.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 05-02-2017, 01:47 AM.Comment

Did anyone except a few idiots here and there really think racism was some large, widespread thing among boxing fans? Anyone who did was (and is) ******ed.Comment

If Anthony Joshua steps out of line, and starts getting all "Public Enemy" a lot of these casual fans will change there tune! (We have already witnessed how quickly people turned on him, when he was pictured in Dubai)....I personally still don't think most of his fans are genuine (They are just Sheeple!) Because Joshua for me still has not exposed his true personality, i am finding it hard to develop a rapport with his personality! Everything just seems so choreographed and rehearsed!
But for now he is the perfect poster boy for Match Room and British boxing! He says all the right things, and his approach to boxing is honorable! (Fair play he has come along way!)...Comment

Canadians respect America more than Americans do.
