It's because of where it was man

I'm British and I'm telling you the uk does not have the same issues with race that you have in North America

Whenever I go to the USA or even Canada I feel like I go back a few decades in terms of how I'm treated. I'm not even talkin negative racism just the general obsession with race. This thread a classic example. Even people who r nit racist there just wanna talk about race all the time

Check any American celebrities Wikipedia page. There will be a who section called ancestry giving a forensic breakdown of that persons background. In Europe in general we don't give a toss, although the whiter parts of Europe still have that exotic fascination maybe - but in the uk it's really multicultural and we have been trading cultures and values with Africa and Asia for centuries and u like say Spain or France we have very friendly relationships with out commonwealth. Our national dish is vindaloo and we don't have "African English" people like y'all have Africa Americans. USA is cool but it's such a race obsessed (note I didn't say racist) country tbh

The British root for the Union Jack. That's why they're the best fans in the sport. Americans fans on the other hand are the worst fans the sport has to offer. And it's no surprise that the vast majority of American fans are racists (both sides).

        Bow down to the UK.

And being of a certain religious persuasion, or being suspected of it, can be a death sentence here too. Its only been 12 years since Jean Charles was shot dead like an animal for being a suspected ******. Just a few days ago a woman who was supposedly linked to a terror cell was shot dead and killed, without her day in court. I could go on and on.

Yes we may be better than, say France or the US or Ukraine but that's like sayin testicular cancer is better than penile...they both end damaging you.

We should not be so complacent and so arrogant. With May's *************, the situation is only getting worse here. We're barely 2 years removed from a general election where UKIP won 4 million votes on an ant-non white platform.

You guys need to get your heads out the sand.
Such as Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Saudi Arabia.... converting from Islam or practising another faith is punishable by death in these countries.

But yeah I agree with the rest of what you said, we are relatively better but far from the finished article in terms of racial tension and equality.

Or at least it demonstrates that BoxingScene is much more racist than most other groups of boxing fans.

Most people who are buying tickets just want to watch good fights, race is way less important to them than you would think it would be by frequenting these forums.

Was there a solid argument or facts suggesting most boxing fans were racists on Friday or something?

White people are not racist, but others are. If it had been Fury vs. Klitschko, would there have been a diversity of fans?

Back when I was growing up in Windsor Ontario, I used to go across the bridge to the Red Wings NHL hockey games in Detroit. I never saw a single black fan in the stands. Not even one.
