what does that have to do with Keyboard Warriorness on forums or Youtube Comments. the fact that the person is virtual and to troll mixed feelings about race has nothing to do with a realistic event.

this thread is just trying to justify the fun in racial tensions in forums
You would score pretty low in an IQ test.

First off I'm speaking in my life time not referencing history.

Obviously it has had its problems but relative to other countries It's not been as bad I mean. Religious intolerance is a different matter and even then its far worse in other parts of the word. In some countries being of a certain religion is a death sentence, talk to me when its ever that bad here.

          Haha beat me to it.

We have had our fair share of race problems and religious tensions in the UK.

Some people should go ask some of the old folks who come over from Jamaica, Granada etc..back in the day, or ask Indian and Pakistani families how they were treated when they arrived. Even the Irish were treated awfully in England at one point.

That speaks more for the 90,000 in attendance not being racist, not the majority of boxing fans.

At this point, the black/white thing in the UK is not much of an issue at all.

              Nationalism is much more relevant.

The vast majority don't care about race, especially when it comes to sport. Joshua, Brook, Haye, etc...will be supported as well as a Froch or Frampton. Amir Khan also had a large fanbase before he ****ed off to America and people lost interest in him.

This is what I mean, as long as you represent the UK it doesn't matter what your heritage or family origins are.

Racism, especially institutional racism is a huge problem where I'm from (The United States) and I don't know enough to speak about other countries. However, racism on the internet is worse than it is in every day life. I think we get our perceptions skewed about a generally small amount of people who make dozens of racist remarks online every day.

I'll reserve my judgement until the next time Joshua posts a picture of himself inside a mosque or voices his concerns over rights for black people, police brutality etc... that's when peoples true feelings come out.
