Wladimir TKOs TOney in the mid rounds, possibly late round. Toney will be eating left jabs all night, as he will be standing sideways to slip Wlads big right hand. Wlad will hurt him and eventually stop him off a short left hook- Wlads best KO punch. Toney's style is taylor-made for Wlad's jab/hook.

Toney always shows up in shape, ROUND. I have no idea why someone even gives toney a chance in this fight, even IF he shows up in "shape". He's simply too little to take the fight from Wlad. The only way you're gonna beat Wlad is if you can hit hard and toney ain't got a heavy punch at heavyweight.

The best toney could hope for is to train his ass off, literally, and defend against Wlad. That's it. It's not like he's going to box Wlad's head off, he couldn't even reach it with how straight Wlad stands up

This is the number 1 fight I want to see, but not cause it's a good match, only cause it'll blatantly show toney for what he is. A little fat man that talks a lot of **** that he can't back up

This is exactly my opinion as well! Toney always rolls his shoulder and turns to the right to avoid right hands. When he does this, he will eat Wladdy's big left hook. Wlad by mid to late round tko.

true, but realize that there will always be people who make excuses as to why fighters they hate can win. i have come to except this. it's pointless arguing with people who already have their mind made up. now, wk is looking for any top five fighter if he can't get a contract signed with liakhovich. i'm guessing that sergei wants to hold onto his belt a little while longer. according to manny, wladimir prefers to fight rahman. however, we know the most likely move rahman will do is rematch toney if he gets by maskaev.

i too would prefer a fight with either rahman or liakhovich. the problem is, who is willing to sign on the dotted line? i don't hear any top guys calling wk out right now.

It's a bad style match up for JT and his present shape puts him behind the 8-ball, but Toney's tougher, slicker, and harder hitting than Byrd, so I think he's got a shot.

i dont know if toney is tougher and slicker than byrd.... byrd is just as skilled a boxer and defensive master... also, byrd has been in with more big heavey's than toney(mccline, ike, golota, wlad, vk), so i'd say that he's just as tough as toney... byrds's also quicker than toney i think, in better shape(even if toney does lose weight) and isnt he younger too?

guys like brewster and peter will give wlad the most problems, i dont think toney will pose that much of a threat...

Toney in my opinion is harder to hit then Byrd, but the arm length will be a major factor for WK. Now I got alot of respect for Wlad's skill as a boxer, but in the HW division the rules change for me, & Boxing skills come in 2nd to the ability to take a shot. IMHO someone is gonna check his chin and it'll prove as always to be devistating.
