AJ was not landing when Wlad was on the ropes - why did the ref stop it when he wasn't being hit? Especially after allowing him to continue after the second knockdown.

Wlad didn't disagree with the stoppage but I agree it may have been a bit early.

He's 41 and had a great career. Time to pack it in and enjoy retirement. It may have been a bit soon that the fight was stopped but Klitschko looked finished to me. Just say he got through the fight and won. There would be a rematch. At his age he could be damaged long term.

Yeah was a bit of an iffy stoppage. That said, Joshua could have went on to knock Wlad out on the canvas. Wlad looked pretty tired at that point.

Wlad may have went the distance but who knows. I still think AJ would have won. Wlad fire power looked gone.

It was absolutely a premature stoppage. The ref had more of a reason to stop the fight after the knockdowns. Kitschko was wobbly after he got up, and he didn't stop it. So why stop it when he was blocking nearly every shot that AJ was throwing on the ropes? Wlad could have come back the way he did after the first KD.

I don't think it's in his nature, I'd like to hear his thoughts on it now however.
