Boxing keeps killing its biggest fights by making people wait for them. Personally for me its still #1 on my wanna see list, but it'd be silly to suggest its not losing ground with many hardcore fans.

Boxing loves to make its self more & more irrelevant by trying to sell 250,000+ more PPV's 6+ months from now.
This fight this weekend, you couldnt time it better, is Wlad old? Too soon for Joshua? Its gunna make a ton of money, right place, right time for the fight.

Last year was the right time for Canelo/Golovkin, the peak time, to make the most money. All parties involed now are losing money the longer it draws on.

Agree. 90,000 people in attendance....holy f#ck & its probably been sold out since 2.5 minutes since the tickets went on sale or some nutty sh^t like that.

Hearn is a smart boxing promoter & one of the best in the game today if not the best. Most of the US boxing promoters are still operating on the 1990's boxing promoter manual.

They are the same size and they are both terrific fighters. The idea that Canelo is a tweener is silly. !54 is a fairly new weight class. Before 1963 there was no 154 pound weight class so if a boxer was moving up from welterweight he went straight to 160. Middleweight and Jr.middleweight are only 6 pounds apart. Moving up 6 pounds from 154 to 160 isn't a big jump. It's just a baby step. If Canelo really is half way between the two weight classes that would make his perfect weight 157. Three pounds of weight is not enough to make a difference in a fight between the two best middleweights in the world. Canelo is a big 154 pounder who much prefers 155 pounds. GGG is a smallish middleweight who makes 160 with ease. Time and time again both Canelo and GGG have weighed 168 to 170 pounds on fight night. These two warriors are the same size. GGG is taller but their perfect fighting weight is the same give or take a pound. A while back GGG was a big favorite to win. Since then the young Canelo has improved and the much older GGG showed signs of slipping in his last two fights. I think the odds makers will only make GGG a slight favorite if they fight in September. They are my two favorite boxers and I have no idea who would win. It's a great match.

Canelo is a quality fighter, but I can't imagine him taking GGG. I'm not sure what gives people the impression that he will.

Canelo lands a jab and Chavez's biscuit thin ankles will snap.

Might be competitive because Canelo walks in cement, but he'll get off first every time.
