Brook is much bigger than the division he normally fights in, and that was highly publicized. Didn't he actually outweigh GGG on fight night? If you have touted his talent, I haven't seen much of it as I've seen the ragging on him. Like I said, since Golovkin's been "exposed" we should see challengers coming out of the woodwork, right? Right??Last edited by SUBZER0ED; 04-27-2017, 04:11 PM.

Golvokin doesn't add more muscle. Any big 147 or 154 that would prep For Golovkin will be adding more muscle to cap at 160 and then aim for the drain.Originally posted by SUBZER0ED View PostBrook is much bigger than the division he normally fights in, and that was highly publicized. Comparing Golovkin-Jacobs to Ward-Kovalev is dumb. One had a rematch clause, the other did not. One has a much better option as the next fight, the other did not. One talked about retiring, the other did not. You can say that Jacobs deserves a rematch (he does), but to say both situations are the same makes you an idiotic fanboy.
Pretty much only decent thing in this thread.Originally posted by Redd Foxx View PostAnother thing to keep in mind is that it may be Sanchez who slipped in that last fight. His gameplan was audible between rounds and he was calling for GG to wait for opportunities that never came. I few times GG broke plans and went for it, he looked great. I don't think Golovkin himself looked less capable, but he was being coached poorly and against an opponent who was playing to his weakness.
Basically Sanchez planned for Danny to start swinging wildly and expose himself (and get KTFO in the process), which never happened. The only good about Sanchez' plan was the jab. I wouldn't have thought of trying to outjab a bigger, stronger opponent, but it happened. Golovkin was not well coached in that fight, however he still outjabbed his bigger and stronger foe and was the aggressor and ring general for most of the fight.
Let's not try to distort facts here though. The dude IS 35. He is getting old, and he will lose eventually.

And that's when the haters will line up screaming, "See, told you he's a hype job!"Originally posted by j0zef View PostComparing Golovkin-Jacobs to Ward-Kovalev is dumb. There's nothing you can say to change the fact that a 35 yr old is not at their physical peak. If you don't think that matters cuz hopkins etc...that's on you. Adjusments can be made and experience plays a part, but 35 yr old ggg is not performing at peak level...it's all downhill unless he gets on some peds. Also, i believe hopkins used peds.Originally posted by therealpugilist View Postmany fighters fought at a high level at 35 bro..do your own research
considering the level of opposition he has faced, no wars, so many knockouts, his 35 aint the same as orlando salido's 35
use your brain man
Hopkins was a better fighter at 35 than 27, well preserved and fought crap competition too until moving up to 175
all fighters age different and have different levels of wear and tear

I know you're intending to be sarcastic, but i believe ggg was at his peak from around 2012-2014. You claim to know boxing...are you telling me ggg still looks as sharp? Seriously...arguing that a 35yr old is in their prime is just ******.Originally posted by therealpugilist View Postwhen did you notice his "decline"
