Again, why reference true p4p multi divisional champs to one who refused the WBO when the plan was all the belts. Is fighting Alvarez more worth than all the belts or Abel saying nobody from 168 can hang with Golovkin, thus becoming a 2 Division Champ and p4p #1? Ramirez wants Gennady. Do they still want all the belts at 160? Ffs..
How Come Golovkin HIMSELF never wanted Ward? Verbally speaking

Well, it shows the same holds true for everybody in boxing: RISK vs REWARD. If there is a high-risk fight, you're going to try to maximize the benefits, including factors in your favor such as weight, ring-size, etc. It's really not that difficult to understand. GGG isn't superman - the same principles that apply to Floyd, and Pac, apply to him.Again, why reference true p4p multi divisional champs to one who refused the WBO when the plan was all the belts. YOU HAVE A POINT about the WBO belt/Saunders situation. I have no idea what went on/is going on there. It was weird - both sides were "negotiating in public," if you will, but at the same time what actually was being offered, and was on the table, remained unknown. So we don't know what side may have turned down a reasonable offer. All I kept hearing, but was never substantiated, was "World fair in Kazakhstan presents a lucrative fight for GGG and Saunders." And I heard numbers like 15 million. But never anything substantiated by either side.
I can't really say much about that until everything fully plays out with Chavez/Canelo fight, and Saunders/Khurtsidze fight. I'm still not 100% convinced Saunders is going to fight Khurtsidze in July. It might be a tactic to get more money from GGG's side?
Simply put, though, no matter what his team says about the prestige of unifying all major belts, reality is, OF FOOKING COURSE, he'd rather take the Canelo fight that however you cut it, is gonna bring BIG BUCKS for him.. OF course that fight is more important.Last edited by Cheek busting; 04-27-2017, 01:59 PM.Comment

Oh lookie, another Golovkin thread based on falsehoods.
Golovkin has stated multiple times he will fight Ward, as far back as 2012 during the now infamous ESPN '154-168' interview question that all the tools love referencing without knowing what they're talking about. He has also stated that Ward refused to fight him him 3 times when HBO approached them - a claim that Ward never denied.
All it takes is a simple google search to prove that the premise of your thread incorrect.Comment

There are a lot of great fights happening this year. Don't you want to see Golovkin call Ramirez's bluff for the 168 title? That's interesting fight. I already went on two years here stating Golovkin's fears fighting Southpaws... Lee bout was supposedly cancelled. Korobov called out Gennady. Look at the Jacobs outcome. Heilland or Charlo will be better defenses than the Brook or Wade charade. Those are some good defenses to look out for or the Jacobs rematch. I think this is the best and last year for Golovkin to pull 2 Division Champ status. If Golovkin beats any 168 champ he becomes #1. Ward will then have to fight Stevenson. Golovkin was a nobody in 2012/2013, he'd say anything to get his name out and earn some money from the peanuts he was making. When he became more popular and the fight was financially viable he wanted no part of Ward. The guy won't even mention Wards name.Oh lookie, another Golovkin thread based on falsehoods.

Oh, absolutely! I would love a GGG/Ramirez fight.
GGG has never really fought an opponent much taller than him, has he? Jacobs is about as close as it comes. Maybe Ishida? But Ishida isn't a world class operator like Ramirez or Jacobs.
I really can't even call it - there's just so many fights I want to see: Charlo, Gilberto, Jacobs rematch, Canelo, Saunders/Khurtsidze winner. And of course, no matter what happens with Kovalev/Ward rematch, if Ward can make 168 still, I'd love to see that fight.Comment

Mirko Troll spends all day drawing mustaches on photos of Golovkin and then masturbating to them.Comment

Nah man. Ward vs Golovkin at this point is a mismatch. Ward said in his post press conference after Barrera he sees ending at Heavyweight like his pops... Ward beating a Heavyweight now supersedes Roy beating Ruiz.. Ward in walk around weight looked swole next to Lewis. Golovkin has bottlenecked at 160 given his age, but he can do 168 given he and Abel said it were easy. There's video of Golovkin saying it. Mismatch if Ward comes down to 168 and would get heat nothing moving up after he said he would. Anybody thinking Golovkin would be harder than Kova is just ******. In fact it would make more sense to watch a catch with Golovkin vs Kova.. if those two pussıes would be down as to who is the better Euro, cause we know Kova lost to Beterbiev in the ams..Oh, absolutely! I would love a GGG/Ramirez fight.
