Lennox was the champion & didn't owe him a title shot but he gave him one anyway. Vitali didn't get it done. Maybe if he didn't get hit & his face wasn't cut up the result could of been different but it is what it is. You can bet there was a rematch clause in the contract if Lennox lost but he didn't need to use it. He went out on top & he dodged a bullet. He went out on his own terms as champion & he was obviously ready to sail into the sunset.
True, he's entitled to retiure. As long as he can live with crtuvusm and I think he can, then no problems.
But Lennox showed how tough he was. He was taski g bombs yet still going g after vitasli after seeing g cut.
Lennox aban domed his usual boxi ng and was just going through vitali

Vitali had a serious shoulder injury and didn't want to risk potentially career ending damage. He was winning the fight handily.

Haye had always been calling out/confronting Wlad, not Vitali. He then ducked and dodged the K2 after avoiding them and winning a paper belt. Vitali eventually retired to become a full time politician. Everyone knows this, and I doubt even you'd be ****** enough to believe what you wrote.

It's telling that those are the two best examples you could come up with to contrast to Lewis' shameful behaviour lol; a shoulder injury and retiring at 42 to become Mayor of Kiev LOLOL.

Moron, it wasn't the ref who stopped the fight, and you conveniently forget that Vitali took the fight with less than two week's notice as a late replacement. Everyone saw what he did to Lewis including the judges, which is why Lewis retired immediately even though he'd claimed before the fight that he was going to continue fighting cause he was "again like fine wine."

It was Lennox who offered him the fight on 2 weeks notice & you give him no credit for that only stating Vitali took it on short notice. I never forgot anything. You just say that because you are a bitter at TKO6 & that he quit against Byrd when all he had to do was get on his bike for a couple rounds. Typical fanboy who can't come to terms with TKO6. Vitali almost won the fight so he deserves a rematch. Too bad 2nd place is the first loser. Vitali won't even get into the HOF like his brother who is a first ballad hall of famer. It is funny how fanboys are still bitter 14 years later. Time to get over it...

            First "ballad" huh?

Vitali beat that glass-jawed fool into retirement. He has one of the best ko records in hw history, one of the best chins, barely lost a round his entire career, and is guaranteed first *ballot*
