I want this fight to happen.

But one thing we have all learned is to never believe a Haymon fighter when he says he wants to fight someone who actually might be good competition.

Youve been under a rock? Haymon has been making great matchups lately...And Wilder is an ambitious man...Haymon or not.

hard luck Parker, Wilder is right

the folks who question Wilders resume need to remember that he had no control over Povetkin..... also, Parker (and Joshua) made themselves fair game when they elected to fight for a title

they were either ready, and if so, then lets go champ..... or they were not ready, in which case, cop the flak and wear it proudly

this was always going to happen

this is exactly the same principle as Joshua/Klitschko, perhaps without the payday

Parker should take that fight, because he said he was ready

He's had some bad luck between that and injury that can explain some of the less than stellar competition he's faced in the ring. I also think his management/promotional team isn't as confident in his abilities as he is. Wilder is an interesting fighter. Technically flawed and basic, he can still overcome that with one clean connect from his bombs. I actually think he'd probably beat Parker after having been thoroughly outboxed for the majority of their fight. It's good to have power.

I agree with you, and the hate Wilder gets does annoy me..... but lets keep it real here, Wilder is jumping on Parker because he thinks Parker aint ready yet

          and he is likely correct

Parker is going to fight in May - he's been through a full camp and isn't going to waste that. Which makes a unification call out for 8 weeks later a bit unrealistic. But Wilder already knows this.

August makes a lot more sense for everyone, but that's obviously not Wilder's prepared route.

Why does every Wilder "callout" have to come with obvious flaws?

Anyway, let's get it on. Somehow.

That's hilarious because Ortiz sends a tweet 20 days before Wilders fight and everyone calls Wilder the ducker. Even though Ortiz didn't even have a promoter at the time.

if Wilder is willing to fly to New Zealand to fight Parker.....

                      ..... then he smells blood

and nope, it is raining here, and we are poor..... so he wouldn't be coming for the weather or for the payday
