They could easily fight in July. 8 weeks is the perfect time, but if it's too early, make it late July! a small break then a 6 week training camp, fight in Vegas. Easy.

I don't get why you're criticising Wilder here. If Parker's team think it's too early they have the opportunity to say that we'd prefer August or whatever.

You're criticising Wilder when he's done what everyone wanted here, PLUS he's willing to pay Stiverne step-aside money which is pretty good of him.

    You ruined that guy.

I agree he's made good fights recently, but that's far from the norm.
The ratings for PBC are (1) beating UFC in the Saturday prime time slot on average since the launch; (2) are on par with Bellator on Spike; (3) broke viewership records on Bounce TV; and (4) outperformed GBP cards on FS1

What low ratings are you talking about?

The only PBC fighter who was legitimately doing low ratings on network TV was Wilder

You're just making up random ****

Let that hate go and enjoy the quality fights we're getting

I'm a Parker fan but I don't understand why other fans of Parker aren't excited for a Wilder fight, and even worse seem to be dismissing it outright.

I mean, do you guys not want to see Parker fight Wilder?

If you don't think he's ready, fine, say that he's not ready. But don't criticise Wilder for wanting to unify.

Wilder is and has been the only champion willing to unify. He's been wanting whoever is the champ for years. It's up to the fighters to agree and just fight him he's obviously always been willing.

Wilder has brought in like 8 million viewers in his last 2 fights I wonder what AJ brings in terms of ppv numbers on his lil island. 200k max?

                      Spike dropped PBC.
UFC is on FS1 which is a channel no one watches, and UFC actually gets paid to put on those events, they actually make a profit.
PBC pays massive amounts of $ to buy air time on Primetime tv and they lose massive amounts of $ almost every event they do.
So no, their ratings aren't better than Anyones because they make no money.
For haymon to cash in with a big tv deal which clearly isn't happening he needs Garcia/Thurman numbers consistently.
PBC's ratings are trash, hence why over a year later we still don't see any new sponsors.
