I'm a Parker fan but I don't understand why other fans of Parker aren't excited for a Wilder fight, and even worse seem to be dismissing it outright.

It's a fantastic matchup. Power and length vs speed and combinations. Both have significant flaws but gee it'd be fun to watch.

I want the fight but i'm also a realist. No way is there going to be a unified fight in 8 weeks with nothing yet signed or organised. Ive seen this over and over from Wilder and many others. After everything that goes on in the boxing World it's hard not to be a little pessimistic. I don't think you even believe this is happening in August.

Wilder still hasnt fought a quality opponent and Wilder knows darn well Parker cannot cancel May 6. Wilder talking big cause he knows he is fighting Stiverne in July. Its a done deal. His team knows Stiverne is shot and no dives are needed this time.
