Comments Thread For: Broner: Me and Terence Crawford Will Be a Future PPV Fight

NEW YORK Adrien Broner believes he can continue to make 140 pounds without a problem. Assuming he can, there's not a bigger fight for him within the junior welterweight division than a showdown with Terence Crawford. Broner said early Sunday morning in Brooklyn that he would welcome a fight against the undefeated Crawford, assuming they can continue winning.

That would be an absolute flop to watch, I'd refuse to pay to watch that sort of fight.

Who would be dumb enough to pay to see a Broner fight on PPV?

Broner isn't even a top fighter and is more suited to a jail cell than a title fight. Broner is bottom of the barrel slime and has little interest as a boxing draw. Broner is a clown show with a horrible ending coming up.

So we would have to pay to watch Broner get pasted by Crawford. We can watch that for free against any top welter.

If Broner could have made 140 he would have done it for the Theopane fight and gotten another belt.

This a fight that Crawford CAN NOT turn down, even if it's @ 144, with two exceptions. One, a fight with Mikey Garcia @ 140! Two, a fight with Manny Pacquiao @ 147!

At this rate Broner won't be relevant long enough for that to ever happen.

When Crawford moves to 147, the fights to make are Thurman, Spence (Brook is moving to 154, I'm not assuming Spence beats Brook for you sensitive ****s), Porter, Garcia and Pacquiao.

Crawford would annihilate poor Broner & not on PPV either... (Nobody is buying that chit) AB altough fun to watch & A great character is way out of his league Vs. "Bud".

TC would stop Broner midway unless Crawford decides to play with his prey & punish him for 12.

I don't think that it would be particularly competitive even if Broner made weight. Crawford is too seasoned and would TKO him late.
