Questions for a Canelo fan to answer (they won't)

    1. If Canelo drops a belt to avoid fighting Golovkin, is he a ducker?
    2. If he then goes to 154, why doesn't he fight one of the best guys there instead of Smith who was a bum with a belt? Why didn't he fight Charlo, Lara, Andrade or anyone else in the top 10?
    3. If everyone else has a PPV and release the PPV numbers, why is it OK for GoldenBoy to hide the Canelo PPV numbers and somehow have them "leaked" after the fights instead of being transparent like all the rest?
    4. If Canelo is "not a real middleweight" like he said before avoiding Golovkin, then why is he fighting at 164.5?
    5. Why is it that every time someone mentions Canelo ducking Golvkin, you guys don't answer and instead say that Golovkin "ducked" Ward? Even though Ward is not in Golovkin's division.
    6. If your only argument is that Canelo is the "A" side, are you more concerned about how much money he makes, or if he fight the best opponents? Because I though the point was to fight the best to PROVE you are the best. Also, how much of that A side money is going into your pockets?????

If a Canelo fan can answer some if not ONE of these questions in a way that actually makes sense, perhaps I can understand why they support a diva, ducking chump who is parading around like he is the best even though he #1 has no belt to speak of and #2 makes up his own weight classes and #3 refuses to fight a real challenge every since he beat (but really lost) to Lara.

    Please explain this to me...

I've seen those questions answered a billion times. Golovkin has the chance to fight Canelo in September, that's all that matters.

He dropped the belt so he was not obligated to a purse bid or a regualted split

He was chasing that uk money!!! Just like ggg with brook..he had just fought khan and wanted to capitalize
      3. If everyone else has a ppv and release the ppv numbers, why is it ok for goldenboy to hide the canelo ppv numbers and somehow have them "leaked" after the fights instead of being transparent like all the rest? Even if he releases them or not he is clearly selling more then any current fighter at the moment
      4. If canelo is "not a real middleweight" like he said before avoiding golovkin, then why is he fighting at 164.5? Same reason ggg wanted to fight chavez at 168 but not ward at 168..money!!!!!
      5. Why is it that every time someone mentions canelo ducking golvkin, you guys don't answer and instead say that golovkin "ducked" ward? Even though ward is not in golovkin's division. Not my concern..no comment

Because i though the point was to fight the best to prove you are the best. Also, how much of that a side money is going into your pockets?????same reason ggg's team dissed ward saying he cant sell and that they were the a side..when you see a threat you get defensive and try anything you can and look at your advantages

Wow, you did an excellent job of answering the questions, without really answering them hahahah. Good job. Now, if someone who knows what they are talking about could answer them I'd be impressed. Golovkin fought Brokk becasue he wanted to fight Eubanks Jr, and after Eubanks refused to sign, Golovkin needed a dance partner and it took a welterweight to man up and have the balls to fight him. Canelo, Saunders, Johnson, Jacobs (until he was mandated to fight him) all avoided Golovkin last year. And you are supporting Canelo fighting Khan instead of Golovkin??? And Smith too?? Ma, it's hard to debate with a guy who is in love with Canelo...

Just search most Canelo threads in the past year. I'll make it simple and answer a lot of them right now. Golovkin priced himself out wanting 40%+ split. Don't be surprised if he des it again for September.

            1) Yes.
            2) He beat Lara. With the others, they don't bring in enough money and I doubt his body can handle a competitive fight at 154lb.

            3) Inflated numbers or they're trying to hide his earnings from his previous promoters.

            4) Money.

            5) To point out the differences in people's expectations. I don't think people would expect GGG to move up and fight the number 1 guy right off the bat when that no 1 guy was Ward.

In Canelo's case, it does become worse the more time passes.

            6) A side B side business helps people look at whether or not reasonable steps were made to make the fight. GGG is not a huge star but beating Canelo would boost his value. I'd expect him to take an 8 figure payday even if he didn't receive a cut of the PPV revenue.

How much do people even think the fight will sell? PPV split would probably increase his pay by 2 mil at best.

Fat dan will be the source for that exact pct, and i have seen ggg in a couple of tv interviews saying the fight needs to be 50-50.... if you want a copy of a written document good luck with that....

The only written document that has ever applied to GGG and Canelo is the WBC rules and regulations on purse splits which would have given Golovkin 30% if it had gone to a bid when he was Canelo's mandatory challenger.

But we all know what happened then, even if some of us won't admit it - Canelo handed over his belt without even trying to negotiate.
