After the mega event on the 6th... GEE would be lucky to get any offer resembling the reported 15mill & #TeamGee will bow down & take whatever GBP'S offers them 'cause they have Loffler by his baby nuts.

But we all know what happened then, even if some of us won't admit it - Canelo handed over his belt without even trying to negotiate.
What does that had to do with the topic???

#1 Canelo drop the belt because WBC said the fight had to be 50/50 under that unified mandatory rule. That wasn't fair to Canelo. Canelo is worth more then 50/50 with GGG. Canelo deserves 65/35 split vs GGG. Canelo sells more and his tickets aren't dirt cheap like GGG.

#2 Canelo doesn't pick his fights Oscar does. Oscar Feels like those guys would be too big of a risk for his buisness. Oscar doesn't won't Canelo to lose to guys who work with AL Haymon. HBO doesn't won't tat either because the fighter will just go back to showtime.

A-side stuff? Canelo is the A-side vs GGG so he should dictate all the terms. Boxing is a business and all the old guys who did it because they wanted to be the best are dead or really sick from the damage they took with little compensation from the promoters. I want get a dime but I do understand the business side of it.

last, oscar sent GGG a contract for 15mill. GGG should take it and call GB bluff. sign it live on social m,edia and sent it back to Oscar. thats what I would have GGG to do.

by the way I am not a Canelo fan because I don't like Oscar so i am not being biased

Not true, show me evidence of this. Oscar or anybody from GBP has never sent any contracts to K2, not even now. Oscar De la "Hoe"ya and Eric "Gomas" can say whatever they want to the media but show me a formal offer. Written.

Nobody sends contracts before they come to an agreement. Would be pointless drawing one up before they agree to terms.

If Oscar was serious, he wouldn't have released any statements to the media.

He'd have met K2 in private, face to face, and tried to have reached a compromise.

                What do you mean 50/50?

Oscar got him to drop the belt because he's his 'Golden Egg' and he didn't want the fight last year.

No, Oscar and Canelo can't dictate all of the terms.

GG has 4 of the 5 belts, he's considered: "The Man" at MW, and he would play a huge part in making this a huge fight which would gross millions of dollars in revenue.

So the moronic fans could carry on talking **** about Canelo not offering the fight? Talking to the media is the best thing they did, it showed Golovkin is a businessman not a fighter. The same thing he called Canelo. Not accepting $15 mil was ridiculous.

A serious businessman sits down with the relevant people to try and make something happen.

No, it wasn't ridiculous. Nobody agrees to anything a year out, and Oscar had already messed them around last year and proved that he was untrustworthy.

K2 ignored the so called offers, went about their business, and have said they'll try and reach a compromise when the time's right. GG has just fought Jacobs, and Canelo is preparing for Chavez.

The serious negotiations will happen within the next few months, unless there's an immediate rematch with Chavez.

This time last year, Oscar told Loeffler to wait by the phone. Yet the only phone call he made, was to Frank Warren, so they could fight Liam Smith.

Give K2 some credit. They're not going to jump through hoops and agree to anything in the media just to massage Oscar's ego.

Serious negotations like Loeffler had with Saunders and then they lost the contract? Don't act like K2 are professional, they don't release anything to the media because they don't want to be caught out by how full of **** they are. Loeffler said they wanted around 40% for a Canelo fight, Golovkins team are out of their damn minds.
