The reason why I always thought the Mayweather iv was genuine and not masking performance enhancing drugs is why would a boxer who ended up with only 2 ko's in 15 fights from 147 and above (1 against Hatton moving up a weight and the other the Ortiz one which was hardly a display of power) be on steroids, his whole game plan boiled down to being the better boxer.Comment

Stamina is one. Weight loss is another. Recovery time after workouts is another. Speed and quickness another. FWIW, PEDs don't always guarantee desired results. Look at Morales versus Garcia, look at James Toney.

Equally he was hardly high volume enough that at 147 he wouldnt require them for stamina, he was always quick so cant see speed being a reason and although as you get older recovery time is an issue he was an such an elite athlete that his change in fight plan over his career is enough for me to think the iv issue is nothing.Comment

1. Theraputic Use Exemptions are part of WADA rules that ADO signatories are bound to follow. No one can comment to Tygart's motives or intentions, however, USADA has breached ethical codes of conduct by selectively administering tests and granting retroactive immunity for banned substances. Tygart has also refused to answer questions when asked to identify boxing matches and boxing drug testing contracts for which USADA drug testing contracts were filed with NY or Nevada State Athletic Commissions.
2. Can you tell me who asked the questions that you accused tygart of not answering?
These are not facts - but let's play...Here are the facts that we know of:
Mayweather used an illegal IV hours after his weigh in for the Pac fight. A collection agent for USADA went to Floyd's home to conduct random unannounced testing and found evidence of an IV being administered to Floyd.
This is a false rumor. It was reported by Thomas Hauser and also debunked by Thomas Hauser himself.
The contents of the IV were not illegal but the administration of those contents by IV was as per WADA rules. Floyd for some peculiar reason was granted retroactive immunity for this by USADA three weeks after the fight.
1. Retroactive "immunity" or Theraputic Use Exemptions are also a part of WADA protocol. No where in any writing does it state a time limit in which retro active tues can be submitted.
2. The approval of Floyd's TUE was done by an independent committee of doctors who have no knowledge of the identity of the applicant - that was submitted 3 weeks later.
3. Floyd provided a partial urine sample before and after the IV. I can reasonably imagine this weighs heavily when granting approval.
When Erik Morales tested positive for a banned substance in 2012, the USADA did not notify the NYSAC and the fight with Garcia went on anyway.
Again false reporting by Thomas Hauser.
1. Year round testing was rarely if not ever being done in the sport of boxing until recently with VADA.The USADA claims to test athletes all year round, however, Mayweather is somehow exempt. He only tests after his fights are announced. Hence his short notice to fight most of his opponents. Berto received only 39 days notice.
2. VADA year round testing consist of 2 unannounced test per year. USADA has tested Floyd dozens of times and most importantly utilize ATHLETE BIOLOGICAL PASSPORT system - the future of testing.
3. USADA has always been an advocate for year round testing.
USADA refused to conduct more stringent testing for Mayweather after two occasions where his testosterone to epitestestosterone levels have been alarmingly low. This is a red flag that was ignored. Low ratio of T/E is a red flag for PED usage and suggests masking to hide those levels. So we have low testosterone levels and a needle in his arm, but no one should questions this?
More false information reported by Thomas Hauser based on Victor Conte - this was BEFORE he was made aware that ALL Floyd samples have been CIR tested.
This is an important fact that you need to acknowledge because t/e ratios that are a "red flag" are then subject to........ CIR TESTING!!!#!
Floyd's T/E levels are irrelevant.
False.VADA conducts proper year round testing, USADA does not. Pacquiao insisted on the more thorough VADA testing for their fight while Mayweather insisted on the less sophisticated USADA method...why?
VADA , co founded by convicted drug cheat Victor conte, wasn't even
created when Floyd and Manny started negotiations.
The fact you think VADA - who doesn't adhere to WADA protocols - is more sophisticated makes me realize how much of my time you just wasted.
I wish I read that before replying.
Try harder. Bring more facts. Less KNOWN rumors.Comment

Floyd never got caught for PED use because he has used his vast wealth to help the US Government build a portal to Zebulon 3 that is known to have the most effective and most undetectable PEDs in the universe.
I heard it was in the form of an IV which would explain the IV and why he never got caught up because it just appeared normal along with all his tests. In a century or so our testing will catch up and Floyd will be discredited then!Comment
