If he drops the title it's a duck. I expect at least one mandatory defense out of champions. That's just the standards I set for champions.
And what is the name of the organization that you run ? Indongo's not "required" to do the same. If he can find a bigger payday elsewhere against a more known fighter then he should take it.

They'll just give an IBF belt if you ask nice and wait a couple years.

Do you recognize the WBO as a world championship?

His resume is filled with the most bs title contenders of any long standing HW champion in the history of the sport.
Name a heavyweight with a more impressive resume from 2005-2015.

Nope. I also don't recognize the WBC, WBA or IBF as world championships. No one belt means you are The World Champion.

Like I said previously all winning one of these four main belts in boxing means is you are a top ten guy and more often then not a top 5 guy.

Don't change the goal posts on my statement to try to argue your point which has nothing to do with my point.

You're an idiot. So according to you the sport of boxing doesn't have world championships. Lovely.

Can someone teach me how you put someone on ignore please?

                LOL you're so dramatic.

And no the sport DOES NOT have a legit world title you can win in the ring anymore. I don't even see how that's arguably.

To me & I'd hope most others a world champion equals you're the #1 guy. There is no physical belt that makes you The World Champion anymore. Its all on a case by case basis now.

At 147 & 200 the guys with the WBO belt (Manny & Usyk) are largely considered the #1 guy. At 160 the guy (GGG) who has every belt except the WBO belt is considered the #1 guy. Its all selective & on a case by case basis now.

Having a belt puts you in the pool that will decide who the #1 guy is, but there isn't belt that you win that makes you the #1 guy.

                  You definitely have a point.

Logically it makes sense but it's just sad really that boxing has come to this.

I have friends who don't recognise any of the belts as champion and only the Lineal as champion but even that is flawed these days.

Yea I can relate to all that. This multichampion era has hurt the integrity of the sport & hurt the history of the sport in ways I think are hard to fully understand as we live in that time. Many fans have never understood any other reality then the multichampion era. Its like some dark ages of boxing history.

The IBF doesn't seem to care about forming undisputed champions. They don't recognize contractually obligated rematches nor do they recognize the significance to the sport of title unifications. It's becoming hard to like an org that consistently places it's mandatory contenders above the most important fights.
