Why does Ortiz keep getting overlooked? I know he's hurt is hand now but he never gets mentioned. I just don't want to see wilder fight stiverne again.

But how in the hell is Stiverne the mandatory over Luis Ortiz.

Ortiz should be the mandatory for the WBC, the same way he is for the WBA.

That makes absolutely zero sense. But these sanctioning organizations usually don't make sense most of the time anyway. Garbage.
Ortiz barely got ranked that high by the WBC because he's been the mandatory for the WBA belt . Some fighters that are ranked by one sanctioning body wont get ranked as high or ranked at all in another. Look at the rankings for every weight class, they are all over the place.

Yeah, most of the time these organizations make no sense. Not for us boxing fans. They make sense to fill their own pockets that's for sure.

I had high hopes for Stiverne after he dispatched of Arreola twice. I can give him a flier for looking so bad in the Wilder fight (injury, over-trained, etc.) but as I recall he didn't look so good against Rossy and hasn't fought since (blame Povetkin). Between these two, I'd rather him fight Del Boy. It would make for some good pre fight pressers and Dereck would at least come to fight until he inevetably gasses or gets caught with Wilder's power.

Funny how the winner gets to bypass Whyte & Ortiz especially Whyte who already beat Chisora. Ortiz needs to stop ***** footing around & switching promoters. Sauerland obviously did a better job securing this Vacant silver belt & future title shot for his fighters.

Wilder-Chisora is a good fight. Chisora beat Whyte and gave Vitali Klitschko his biggest test since he came back.

It's an alright fight. Chisora gives everyone some tough rounds and beats the pretender.
Chisora would be Wilders second best win lol.

Would have preferred Joshua, Klitschko, Parker, Pulev or Ortiz, but Chisora is on the same level of opponents as the likes of
Breazeale, Ruiz Jr., Whyte, Takam, Washington and Mansour.

So wait, Stiverne is still the mandatory right? Then after that fight, Wilder will have another mandatory against the winner of this fight? Is that correct? So Whyte beats Chisora in an eliminator and then Chisora gets a final eliminator for the title. Lol

But why though?? Chisora and Helenius are trash! waiting to get thrown away. They both just lost their last fight but now they get a title shot thats bs.
