This is getting old to comment on, but the UFC doesn't work like boxing. UFC guys get a guaranteed "show" amount of money & a win bonus if they win at the ground floor to the random contender level.

Once you become a draw you typically get a guaranteed amount based on your drawing power, sometimes with a win bonus, sometimes without.

Then once you get to the champion level you get a % of the PPV money. And PPV money all depends on how many PPV's you sell. Randy Couture, who once held Conor's position as the big draw for the UFC, who leaked his contract in 2007 during a rough batch with the UFC would have paid Conor about $7M per fight & my assumption is he has a sweeter deal than Randy did a decade ago & is for sure in the 8 digit region.

And granted its not boxing money, but he's still probably making more money in combat sports than anyone except maybe Manny right now & that's a maybe not a definitely.

There's money to be made here...north of 350 for sure.

Remember live gate will do around 70 million

int TV rights will go for about 20

Sponsors will be there too (think it was 15 for may-pac)
Last I recall, Pacquiao was guaranteed $25m.

Beyond that, I earnestly don't see the ticket demand being anywhere near what it'd need to be to generate the $70m gate at the 21k-seat T-Mobile Arena, especially for a fight that no one really thinks will be competitive.

To simply peg the numbers off of what Mayweather-Pacquiao did is a major mistake

Yeah, I think the guys on this forum underestimate the general public/media influence too much.

Floyd and Conor are household names

With media coverage it's inevitable that's this fight will be a huge revenue generator. Half a billion easy

I think Floyd fully understands what his worth is (and what his worth is to combat sports, in general), and he's going to get every penny of what is due to him.

Floyd gets $100m guaranteed, McGregor gets $25m guaranteed, and then on any take on revenue beyond $300m (Mayweather Promotions and the UFC get a taste), the PPV proceeds get split 75% to Mayweather Promotions, 25% to the UFC (who split that with McGregor however they wish).

Divvy up the live gate between Mayweather Promotions and the UFC (who split that with McGregor), and then divvy up the rest of the proceeds 75/25 Mayweather (with McGregor/UFC keeping the Ireland rights to the fight, and splitting the UK rights 50/50).

You're missing the entertainment piece. I have friends (who don't generally watch boxing) messaging me about hotel rooms and tickets already. None did that for May - Pac (I did a fight party).

Don't understimare casuals. They care about events (like the super bowl or all star weekend). They don't care if it's competitive.

Just wait and see how much coverage this fight gets.

White is already negotiating. $75 Million for Connor was his first offer.
