Fighting a 0-0 guy can't do anything positive for ones legacy is all I'm saying so there is a potential trade off going on.

This is a payday for Floyd only & his overall status in the sport & accomplishments in boxing can only be decreased, not increased, from this fight. And if Floyd goes out there & looks like he's looked in most of his previous 49 fights that'll work out well for him & will be a good bet to make.

I'm just saying the reality is there for Floyd's legacy to be diminished since this is such a poor, but financially feasible, opponent choice.

I didn't say it would have a positive effect, I don't think it will have a negative effect no more than Ali fighting a wrestler unless Floyd lost, I think when the dust settles people and history will take it for what it is just an entertaining sideshow.

What does him having any amateur fights have to do with it. He was already an accomplished world champion when he was fighting those guys.

Well than u should mention how many times he also fought per year. That 0-1 fight u reference, chavez fought 3xs in a damn month & the 3rd fight was a title fight. Chavez was great because of his activity. He wasnt born with some crazy fast twitch muscles & reflex. He kept it old school, fought all the time (because thats what fighters do) especially 1s without a prestigous AMATEUR career.

in order for the fight to happen, McGregor has to split his purse with White..... so McGregor would need to be paid accordingly in order to make the fight possible

Mayweather gets nothing if he low-balls McGregor, and McGregor actually brings a lot to the table

Floyd is real smart, he will allow White/McGregor to profit simply to make the fight happen..... so he can pocket an easy 100mil+ himself
