    UFC president Dana White believes Conor McGregor will make about $75 million from his fight with Floyd Mayweather should it go ahead. Speculation about a boxing fight between the UFC lightweight champion and retired boxer have not gone away. Speaking to The Herd, White suggested a deal with the McGregor camp is much closer to completion in comparison with their counterparts.

                lol no way does gayweather jr agree to let conor make that much. bum ass conor who isn't even a pro boxer is making more than some of the biggest ppv fighters have ever made. this farce should not happen.

                    I'd speculate that means the UFC is taking $25M-$50M themselves. Sounds like a nice juicy amount for Conor to not feel like he's getting too f#cked over to try to get out of his probably illegal contract, but also is life changing money that isn't turn downable by the UFC's guesstimation.

                    Once the UFC & Conor have figured things out its still about if those numbers match up with Floyd's expectations. The only equation on Floyd's mind is if this fight is gonna make him enough money to potentially lower his whatever amount of his legacy gets damaged in this fight via the blowback from just fighting a 0-0 guy to losing a round to the unthinkable or some other embarrassing outcome.

                    I'm still of the opinion this fight isn't going to happen. Maybe put it at a 25% chance of happening as of now despite all the positive opinions of most involved.
