He kept it old school, fought all the time (because thats what fighters do) especially 1s without a prestigous AMATEUR career.

Greg Haugen made the comment that many of Chavez’s wins "came against Tijuana taxi drivers that my mom could whip."

      After The fight:

Greg Haugen stated: "They must have been very tough taxi drivers."
Chavez did fight a lot of bums, any fighter in history with a 100+ opponents fought lots of bums and a normal career of 20-30 fights against top guys, Ray Robinson only fought about 20 top guys just analyze the resumes its all there, and the reason is you cannot keep going to the well against the very best guys one after the other and especially if they are rockem sockem affairs.

The old days were different it was more of a grind, was much easier to make fights and there were more guys boxing that were thrown into fights to fill up cards, not near as scientific camps as today nor as complicated on the business side of the sport, and the training and nurturing of top prospects is a lot more controlled today.

If McGregor somehow manages to make it past the third round, Floyd should be embarassed and never show his fwce in public again. This is an easier fight than Josie Harris.

Mayweather gets nothing if he low-balls McGregor, and McGregor actually brings a lot to the table

Floyd is real smart, he will allow White/McGregor to profit simply to make the fight happen..... so he can pocket an easy 100mil+ himself

there will be LOTS of money to go around

Floyd was happy to offer Pacquiao 50/50 back in 2010, and Manny did not deserve 50%

Yep if mcgregor guarantee is 75 million, he's not taking that home.

This is based on Canelo's 2.5 with Mayweather. Conor is much more popular and a lot of my buddies talk about this fight a lot. It's really surprising how much tbh. None of them ever mentioned the Canelo fight to me back when it happened.

Your buddies think mcgregor beats floyd?

Some of them do. These are people who have a fair amount of cash and casuals to all sports. The perfect PPV target.
