Or are you saying that Indongo was supposed to be in negotiations with Crawford while training for Burns and while Crawford is preparing to fight Diaz?
Fight your mandatory and then the two winners can unify.

You can say they just need to get these fights out the way, but then youll just get one of the other bodies enforcing a mando. Then maybe Crawford wants to move up or fight someone else who brings more money.
These belts come and go so often that its almost impossible to get them all in one fighters hands (surely what all boxing fans want). This is an opportunity to make it happen and instead we are gonna get Indongo vs Lipinets. Lipinets is a guy i like but its not like he has been ****ing the door down. Still a prospect really.

The IBF mandatory was overdue and Klitschko-Fury was sanctioned on the condition the winner would face the IBF mandatory. Both fighters promised the IBF the winner would fight the mandatory, then they hid a rematch clause from the IBF to trick them into sanctioning the fight.
IBF had no choice but to strip Fury for refusing to fight the overdue mandatory.
And Charles Martin wasn't the mandatory. It was Glazkov. Blame main events.
Like i said at the time its all well and good strictly enforcing mandatories, but if the mandos are **** then they may as well not bother.
Comes down to shocking rankings at the end of the day. All of the orgs suffer from it.

Lipinets is super available to be hit and short. He was in a war with Zella or whatever before he got the kd and Indongo looks leagues better than Zella. Terrible matchup for lipinets but it's a shot make it count

Originally posted by Mr. Luthor View PostCrawford is fighting in May. Indongo just won this past weekend. Too early to mention ducking. Also it's ridiculous to suggest anyone would "duck" Lipinets and then get in the ring with Crawford. The IBF not allowing Indongo to pursue a undisputed unification fight with the winner of Crawford vs Diaz is pathetic.
These mandatory fighters have rights. They've won eliminators. They're not going to sit around waiting forever.
