when Mr "anyone from 154-168" shat the bed by refusing to negotiate with Canelo on the weight..... he doomed himself to fighting a genuine 160lb BEAST

    and so it is

    Canelo will beat Golovkin
There was no offer to negotiate on weight because weight was not the issue .. Canelo said that himself.

Canelo was doing exactly the same thing as BJS did .. waiting for GGG to hit his mid 30's before agreeing to fight him.

The only difference is that BJS is honest enough to admit it and Canelo isn't.

GBP is freaking embarrassing. Every time they open their freaking **** holsters crap comes out. One fight ago "not a true middleweight on fight later "he is stronger, faster etc." GTFOH

It is very odd to see how defensive and insecure some fans are. The Triple L and Sergio fans go to great lengths to smear any potential opponents (Canelo or SOG). It's really strange.

I used to be like that during Jr high, but well I grew up :/

Well, since we're both boxing fans here (apologies if you're a fighter or manager), then "ducking" is the most appropriate word. Its also a succinct, but still completely accurate way of expressing what Team Canelo is doing.

I agree with all the reasoning you laid out as to why Canelo may not want to fight GGG. Hell, if the Jr. PPV does good money, and Canelo beats Jr. in a competitive fight, it would make great business sense to rematch on Mexican Independence Day instead of GGG.

A short term for all this would be "ducking"

what is so hard to understand about that ?
Whats hard to understand is that if Canelo isn't a real middleweight, why does his trainer seek extra credit for making 154? Liam Smith had to make 154 too.

ALL FIGHTERS SACRIFICE TO MAKE WEIGHT.

If Canelo wasn't a real MW, then 154 was his natural weightclass, but his trainer is acting like he made extra sacrifice to make 154.

But I would never stand between a man and his love for a fighter, so please carry on accepting everything Team Canelo says.

And lets not even get started on Canelo saying "No Mamadas" If he wasn't a real MW, why did he throw down a challenge to a MW?

From this point on Canelo is going on a mad tear of handing out azz whoopings to all your favorite fighters for the next couple years.

Do you have any idea what pct of fighters actually campaign in their natural weight class?? Almost nobody does, thats what a day before weighin allows... and for some to act like is cheating is really ******...
Now, that no mamadas crap was bs from canelo mainly cuz he fought somebody else after that, there is no way around that ****... he was clearly not on the same page as oscar and cant blame others or make excuses for that..

Maybe now he will be fighting guys closer to his weight. He is a good fighter but Oscar keeps trying to say he's great.I have my doubts.
