Sergey Lipinets is Julius Indongo's mandatory challenger for his IBF title

Hopefully this fight takes place before any unification with Crawford. I'm picking Lipinets to win.
I really have no interest in Indongo vs Crawford. Indongo is perhaps one of the worst world champions fighting today: Slow, wide, sloppy, and atrocious footwork.Comment

Fortunately the mandatory situations look really good at 140 so we actually might get to see Crawford-Indongo.
WBA: Ordered Rances Barthelemy vs. Kiryl Relikh to determine the mandatory. With PBC clinging to life, who knows when that fight will even get made.
WBC: Orozco. Hasn't shown any interest in getting outclassed by Crawford to this point.
IBF: Lipinets. Once again, PBC is clinging to life and I think I read they want him to get more fights under his belt anyway.
WBO: No worries. They're in Arum's pocket. All 8 Top Rank champions are WBO champions.Comment

Not sure how that would help Hearn, though...
Indongo-Lipinets isn't a massive fight, but it'd line up as a really good co-feature to an event.
Looking at BoxRec, since regional title level, Indongo has basically been fighting every 4-5 months; Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Amir Khan, and others would all be about due for fights.
Everyone knows what the fight is that Hearn is looking to stage; for a guy that's not even signed to his company, why wouldn't Hearn try to leverage (if possible) IBF/WBA 140lb champ Julius Indongo into finally locking down the fight he truly wants?
I don't know how simply delivering Indongo to Top Rank helps Matchroom at allComment
