I'm British and I agree with some parts of what your saying. But I'm siding with Spencer tbh. Brook has fought very limited fighters. Nearly came unstuck against Carson Jones I think it was. I don't enjoy watching him fight as he grabs and clinches all night long. Can't justify train from London to Sheffield plus ticket to take a chance to see him clinch all night. Just got instinct Spencer but unanimous.

Seeing Froch beat the **** out of Bute was a thing of beauty. One of favorites boxing moments ever, if felt great to be a Froch fan that day. Nothing against Bute, but he was overhyped like crazy. I was one of the few non-British fans who thought the Cobra would be too much for him.

The Ring magazine has been a joke for awhile. IIRC, they had Bute ranked higher than Froch and Ward for years. Even ranked p4p.

Anyways I do think Brook vs. Spence will be competitive though.

I'm not on the Spence hype but Froch's old nose has more KO power than Brook's entire body. People think that because Brook is big, that he's strong. He's not and comparing him to Froch is an insult to the Cobra.

Brook has been hurt by fighters that meet that very description.

Schenchenko had him Hula dancing LOL...the same guy that couldn't hit or hurt Malinaggi.

The very average Carson Jones busted him up badly and had him on Elvis legs a few times.
