Man, that was one of my favorite nights ever as a boxing fan. Well, evening here in America. Froch whooped Bute's ass. I predicted him to win by stoppage, but not that dominantly.

Brook has been hurt by fighters that meet that very description.

Schenchenko had him Hula dancing LOL...the same guy that couldn't hit or hurt Malinaggi.

The very average Carson Jones busted him up badly and had him on Elvis legs a few times.

It'll take a lot more to stop this kid than something like Kell Brook.

Mentally, that was such a devastating loss for Bute. He came into that fight as the favorite, he was supposed to be too fast and too good. Many predicted a KO win for Bute and then Froch beat him up like he stole something from him. I felt bad for Bute.


We still don't know exactly how good Spence is so anything is possible, maybe Brook beats the sh-t out of him. I do have feeling that Spence is the real deal. I want to see Spence do a number on Brook because that would take him to the next level. Spence is young exciting and very good for boxing.

These are very similar to my thoughts. Spence that we have seen recently does not have a long & successful future in the sport. He gets tagged easily, drops his hands and throws very wide loopy haymakers. You wont beat elite WWs fighting like that. Spence has shown the ability to tighten up and be a terrific fighter.

I expect Spence/Brook to look more like Jacobs/Golovkin, with Spence tightening up his game and fighting a solid fight. I can see Brook winning a decision, but I can also see Spence TKOing Brook. That dude has a damaged eye and we have no idea how his body will handle coming back down to WW. He may go down after the 5th liver shot and not get up.

Spence would be wise to have a look at this fight. Its all well and good saying the crowd wont be a factor but once hes in the snakepit it takes an exceptionally strong mind not to crumble.

This could be a step too soon for this kid, hes not had anything to prepare him for this. Fighting some kickboxer who pacquiao knocked down 6 times, and an old 40 year old washed up euro level guy does NOT prepare you for kell brook.

It could look like man vs boy. Hes been fed fighters who cant punch, so he can walk straight through them, theres so much to this kids game that hasnt been proven yet.

And brook LOVES fighting southpaws, they are bread and butter for him.

Just warning people cause everyones expecting this to be a close nip and tuck fight, but if one of the chocolate brownies lands on spences chin early on and the crowd starts roaring, this fight could end up being a demolition job. And there are question marks against his chin, lets not forget....

I'm British and I agree with some parts of what your saying. But I'm siding with Spencer tbh. Brook has fought very limited fighters. Nearly came unstuck against Carson Jones I think it was. I don't enjoy watching him fight as he grabs and clinches all night long. Can't justify train from London to Sheffield plus ticket to take a chance to see him clinch all night. Just got instinct Spencer but unanimous.
