It's called cognitive dissonance. When someone expects a certain outcome and then it doesn't occur, they create reasons why their expected outcome actually was right. They'll say robbery, they'll call out bribes, they'll say us bias, anything to cope with the unfathomable fact that maybe they are not right.

as noted...they said for years how ward dont sell and theres no money in the ward business....now when faced with this argument ward is now some "US boxing star" that the US needs......but he wasnt that in late 2015 when he wanted a piece of golovkin at 168 tho right?

golovkin fans are terrible...this is why his respect has been diminishing for well over a year....you guys constantly flip flop your stances to fit your arguments......
The example I gave you was Breadman saying how he had Jacobs winning but why he thought Golovkin won "the event". I'm a Golovkin fan but I had Ward winning that fight. Think Breadman had Ward winning the fight and would have won "the event" anyway if it was close.

Ward done it to himself, before the inactivity he had the momentum, ratings were higher than Kovalev's have been. An active Ward will always be a higher draw than Kovalev, HBO are still banking on this.
