can anyone give me a good reason the USA would rob Kova but not Golovkin?

we saw pac get KTFO by marquez. but the people still clamored for pac/floyd...we saw tsyon ko'd but tyson/evander was still huge years later....morales beaten by zahir but the people still wanted morales/pac

so if the US judges robbed golovkin on the cards wouldnt it stand that golovkin would have a robbery claim and the canelo fight would still be legit?

wouldnt the US fighter danny jacobs, a cancer survivor, have his profile raised greatly? "danny the american boy survivor beats the unstoppable EE force"....thats a pretty good tagline no? that rasied jacobs profile very much.....great for US morale right?

now on the otherhand...nobody was watching kovalev/ward cept the diehards.. "ward aint relevant..nobody cares guy cant sell out in his hometown....nobody knows who ward is" the golovkin fans shouted for over a year......so what reason would the US judges have to rob kovalev in favor of ward? theres no real money in it....ward isnt a star....it doesnt make sense

im looking for one legit reason the US judges would rob Kovalev but not rob golovkin when they had a golden opportunity....can anyone gi ve me one?

Different judges do different things, based on different circumstances

    You can't generalise such things

I don't think the two fights are similar anyway. In the case of Ward/Kovalev, you literally have to concede everything to Ward to give him 114/113 to win. Thats su****ious in and of itself. Kovalev had a much better case for winning that fight

Golovkin/Jacobs is one of those fights you can score either way. I personally had Jacobs winning, but it is what it is. This was a much closer fight than Ward/Kovalev

if there was a motive to rob kovalev...then certainly a similar motive would be there to rob golovkin......you are dancing around the actual question

im not asking how close or how different the fights were.....im asking what reason would us judges have to rob kovalev that they couldnt have used to rob golovkin too...its pretty simple

i see people running around on boards yelling "wards homecooked american judging" everywhere......its a load of horse****

Ward is a well known name, more known to the American audience.

Jacobs is not well known and has already lost, Golovkin is the bigger name. Plus, HBO are relying massively on a Golovkin-Canelo fight, they are not going to risk blowing that.

If there's an out and out robbery, it means there is someone paying the judges, there's a bribe. E.g. CJ Ross in the Canelo/Mayweather fight.

They don't just fiddle the cards because someone is the same nationality or race. If you're getting hired for important career defining jobs you don't make decisions like that unless someone else is swaying you too. Shows why judges who turn in funny cards are regularly finding work.

I've heard sometimes it's not out and out bribes, but the promoter might pay the judges very well, put them up in 5* hotels, take them to nice dinners. Then the judges will obviously know if they favour the promoter/home town fighter then they might be more likely to receive more work from them.

how is it in HBOs "best interest" for ward to win? you know theyd have kovalev too right? and kovalev is a more fan friendly style? if the hbo fans have embraced golovkin surely they will embrace kovalev just as much...same way they did with pac

theres no way it was in HBOs best interest to have ward win....everyone said nobody knew who ward was and ward is boring and cant sell

that doesnt add up to hbo wanting ward to win

                  once AGAIN

"ward dont sell in his own hometown...ward aint relevant...ward dont bring no money....nobody knows who ward is"

you remember that right? or are you gonna pretend golovkin fans havent shouted that for a couple of years when explaining his duck of ward?

ward is more well known than jacobs...but barely....not enough to justify robbing someone over.....and as i said....a win over golovkin for jacobs would have rasied jacobs profile greatly....probably to around the same level as ward.....so NO
