Broner put him flat on his back...he's lucky he didn't get KTFO.

After he sent Broner running around the ring crapping his trunks for 11 rounds. Berto is past prime and has been through some wars. He also insists on that shoulder roll that doesn't work for him. I'd be surprised if Berto finished the fight.

Life and death? Life and death is Timothy Bradley vs. Ruslan Provodnikov. Life and death is not fighting your opponent on even terms for 6 rounds before you stop him. Just my opinion.

Guy went life and death with Josesito Lopez and Soto-Karass, lost to SK. Maybe he forgot already.

TBF he got injured in the Karrass fight and it took several rounds after the injury before Karrass finally stopped him last round. Berto was a one armed fighter and still knocked him down in the 11th.

The fights I would point out are Ortiz and Guerrero, those are fights he shouldn't have lost imo. That should've showed he was at least in the "good" category. Instead he's just a decent fighter at this point.
