Duva alwayscries to the media and fools always take the bait. All of these decisions are up to the Commission. If she doesn't like the way Nevada selects officials then fight somewhere else.

NAC 467.214  Selection and approval of ring officials and announcer. (NRS 467.030)
    1.  The ring officials of contests or exhibitions are the referee, judges, timekeeper, physician and Commission’s representative. The Commission will select and approve all ring officials.
    2.  The promoter may select the announcer for a contest or exhibition, subject to the Commission’s approval.
    [Athletic Comm’n, § 136, eff. 4-25-78] — (NAC A 12-13-82; 12-2-97)

NAC 467.219  Referees: Selection; fee; protest of assignment; physical examination. (NRS 467.030)
    1.  A majority of the Commission will select the referee for the main event in boxing championship contests and for any other boxing contests or exhibitions which the Commission considers to be special events.
    2.  The Commission will set the fee which the referee is entitled to receive for a contest or exhibition.
    3.  If any licensee of the Commission protests the assignment of a referee, the protesting licensee will be given a hearing by the Commission if time permits. If time does not permit, the matter will be heard by two Commissioners or a Commissioner and the Chief Inspector or Executive Director in order to make such disposition of the protest as the facts may justify. Protests not made in a timely manner may be summarily rejected.
    4.  Each referee licensed by the Commission must annually undergo a complete physical examination, including an eye examination conducted by an optometrist or ophthalmologist. The licensee must produce all records of the examination at the request of the Commission.
    [Athletic Comm’n, §§ 138-140, 147, eff. 4-25-78] — (NAC A 12-13-82; 11-2-88; 12-2-97; R076-03, 12-3-2003)

NAC 467.225  Judges: Selection; protest of assignment; fee; stationing; physical examination. (NRS 467.030)
    1.  A majority of the Commission will select the judges for the main event in boxing championship contests and for any other boxing contests or exhibitions which the Commission considers to be special events.
    2.  If any licensee of the Commission protests the assignment of a judge, the protesting licensee will be given a hearing by the Commission if time permits. If time does not permit, the matter will be heard by two Commissioners or a Commissioner and the Chief Inspector or Executive Director in order to make such disposition of the protest as the facts may justify. Protests not made in a timely manner may be summarily rejected.
    3.  The Commission will set the fee which the judges are entitled to receive for a contest or exhibition.
    4.  The judges must be stationed ringside at places designated by the Commission’s representative.
    5.  Each judge licensed by the Commission:
    (a) May be required to submit to or provide proof of a complete physical examination; and
    (b) Must annually undergo an eye examination conducted by an optometrist or ophthalmologist and produce all records of the examination at the request of the Commission.
    [Athletic Comm’n, § 141, eff. 4-25-78] — (NAC A 12-13-82; 11-2-88; 12-2-97; R076-03, 12-3-2003; R090-07, 12-4-2007)

Clements has no business being a judge, he proved he is incompetent long ago and ever since. He needs to go share a place on the park bench with CJ Ross.

I'm a big perspective guy so here is a little to add to this thread (I believe I posted these facts prior in another thread right after the first fight).

          1) Kovalev had fought in Vegas twice before meeting Ward there while Ward HAD NEVER fought in Vegas prior.

          2) Robert Byrd, the referee, had never worked a fight with either boxer prior.

          3) None of the judges had worked a fight with either fighter prior.

          4) If viewership ratings are any clue, Kovalev entered the ring the more popular fighter.

In other words, it's hard to see where Ward had any advantages entering the first fight.

If anything, it was Andre that was the "visitor".

If this and other things coming out of the Kovalev camp are an accurate representation of where they are at right now mentally, they are in deep, deep trouble against Ward in the rematch.

You make a decent point but it's not like this hasnt been asked for before, pacquiao-bradley ii and the fourth Marquez fight they were given two non-nevada judges after asking, when it is usually at least 2 nevada judges. Kathy isnt looking to choose the judges like some here seem to believe, and it would have had to be something Ward's team would need to be equally involved in too.(for those that think Duva could just do it on her own)

Its a lot easier to grease up a number of the nevada judges(especially with a su****ious guy like Prince around) than random guys from around the US and a foreigner.

But of course some folk will take this as simply pre-prepared excuses. I care very little about the judge picking process and am just looking forward to the fight, this is just a point of discussion while I wait.

                Fair enough.

Honestly though, I'm not gonna blame nayone but Duva for this. She has to represent her client better than this.

This is just lip service. You don't get to pick the judges in Nevada, the commission does. Has this somehow changed the last year or so? I haven't been watching as much lately.
