Duva defined neutral judges as any judge not from the US or Russia. The fight is in vegas so they have to use Nevada judges, appointed by the commission, who are most likely Americans.

Duva knows this so these comments seem to me to preemptive excuse making in case her man loses. She is making it seem like roc nation is choosing the judges.

So judges from countries other than Russia or the US can't be paid off? Smh...

Now Ward's handlers are objecting to a call for neutral judges, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out why. Best thing that could happen for real boxing fans is a first round knockout of Ward
Genius...the Nevada Athletic Commission selects the judges. There is ZERO requirement for them to be American. Also, Duva will have an opportunity to object to a judge selection when they are selected. Also, ask yourself, why would she need permission from Ward to make such a request?

Too many of you sensitive so called fans are wrapped around the word "neutral" and aren't considering the process of selecting judges and why certain commissions select their own.

It's like she was using NSB posts to fuel how she "promotes" the fight not realizing that most of the posters who cry about this kinda stuff don't buy ppv. Half of them comment without having seen the fight.

Seems incredibly fair to me, she said no judge from USA or Russia, why do we have so many replies to the thread?

I think he'll go 12 rounds in a brutal beating and get a split decision.

How pathetic? I just don't get Team Kovalev. Kathy Duva was the A side promoter for the original bout. Therefore, she didn't need Team Ward's consent for requesting neutral judges for the fight.

This is just another attempt by Team Kovalev copping out because they lost the fight. Instead of owning up and admitting to their own shortcomings, they would rather just project and deflect them on everyone else but themselves.

Doing it two times in a row is a bit of a precedent, would be very bad for boxing, we already know we can't trust the sport fully, but when we have back to back dodgy decisions It would hurt the sport.

I feel like It's such a shame that there is no review scenario for boxers who suffered a controversial loss, I'm not saying there should be a review for a fight every weekend, but in today's era there should be a counter measure to this crooked behavior that goes on in boxing.

                      Wrong.

Marquez requested 3 non NV judges for fight IV because he got robbed in the other fights.

Not sure why anybody would have an issue with neutral officials? If the fight was in Europe this place would be up in arms if it was 3 Russian judges.
