Nevada selects the judges and judges must be from Nevada. That's how it is and how it's always been. There are hundreds of fights a year in Nevada and everybody uses Nevada judges. Duva thinks Kovalev is a special little snowflake and the rules must be changed for him.

Canelo got a draw on a card in Nevada against Floyd but you didn't see any of Canelo's other opponents he's fought in Vegas make a special request for different judges. But Kovalev is special so all rules must be change for him

In Nevada the judges have to be from the US but they do make exceptions. I know there was a Canadian judge for the first Pac-Bradley fight

Don't know why anyone would be against neutral judges. Unless of course you don't care about the level playing field, as long as you can get the win, deservedly or not.

Because it implies that the judges voted the way they did based on a bias. If that's the case its time for fighters to start requesting that judges that are the same race as their opponent not be selected either

Kovalev is the peoples champ. Unfortunately for Ward, robberies to hold up to true vicories..... its why Kovalev the foreigner has so many fans. And Ward, in his own city has 50 people show up for an autograph session

Really good interview. Ward is the architect of the supposed lack of respect he gets but as far as promoting I still haven't seen much from Ward. Kovalev is doing his part as he did the first time.

I mean it only make sense you have a Russian fighter fighting in America vs. An American fighter and three american judges scoring the fight that seems a little unfair. Imagine the outrage if ward had to fight kov in Russia with three Russian judges lol
