Unless Virgil can put the facts on the table that would portray Krusher as some kind of alcoholic, this seems like a stereotypical, racist crap.
P.S. But if we go with Virgil's allegations as a hypothetical, then it turns that a Russian alcoholic beat up P4P best fighter in the world. What would Russians do if they were sober?Comment

1. There have been rumors about Sergey's drinking issues. Not the first time this has been mentioned. Don't think this is racially motivated. Probably heard rumors and is exaggerating.Unless Virgil can put the facts on the table that would portray Krusher as some kind of alcoholic, this seems like a stereotypical, racist crap.

2. No one was "beat up" in the first fight. 7 or 8 of the 12 rounds barely had any significant work at all. Mostly a lot of ring generalship and ineffective aggression from both fighters.
Sergey was sharp early (the knock down was a beautiful shot following a faint) and drained late. Ward was off pace early and aggressive later (particularly in the 9th). But there weren't a lot of solid punches landed in that first fight. It was very anti-climatic. Garcia - Thurman was more eventful (and that's saying a lot). I'm hoping we get a better fight this time around.
Kovalev hopefully will be fresher for 12 rounds and Ward will be sharper.Last edited by Butch.McRae; 04-12-2017, 03:07 PM.Comment
