Must have been those Arctic nights. Rock got confused or something. "Yo, Adrian, don't this seem like a long time. When's da sun gonna come up. Yo Adrian..."

I have to say 3 and the first are tied for my favorite but 4 has that amazing training sequence which never fails to inspire, and I have to say I actually liked 5 (too much time was spent on the subplot with his kid feeling neglected). I actually loved the streetfight in the end even if it might be a bit over the top. Makes me wonder if Rocky will fight Tarver in the ring or in the street in 6. I hope 6 is good.

Rocky three defo. Mr T was the baddest opponent, and you can believe he'd **** Rocky (Ironhead) Balboa up lol. Number four was ****e I agree with the other posters with its corny half arsed 'political message' it tried to convey.

Number 5 is the worst film of all-time.

that was always the best part of the rocky's the training, one thing that stallone did well was make it so you felt you needed to go out and be a boxer or be a Rambo(green beret) he was a genious when it came to making his movies and the sequences he used although the script itself always ****** atleast you felt you needed to go out and be what he was they were always inspiring to people.

I agree completely. The first one has, by far the best story to it.

Before he got his chance he felt depressed because everything in his life was so run down. He lived in a dirty and small room in the worst part of Philadelphia, his best friend was an alcoholic, his trainer didn't believe in him, he worked as a cheap thug. He had no girlfriend, like no people who cared about him save his turtles (how pathetic is that?). He is aware of that and probably stopped caring about himself too. He's nostalgic and sorry when he thinks about his childhood. He must think something like: "I've gone all the way from promising and happy boy to pathetic loser." There are some good things left in him though. Even though he isn't really the brightest fellow around he has some morals, is an honest man and most of all capable of feeling love and I don't just mean Adrian by that. When he loses his locker at the training center his life has reached a new low. Then, out of nowhere he is asked to fight Creed. When he at last decides to fight, his goal isn't winning, he's not that arrogant, he wants to go the distance because no one else had accomplished that vs Creed. He does it to prove to himself that he is capable of something.

He got his chance by LUCK, not by trying, but he seized it to regain self esteem. As the movie ends, he has Adrian and himself back, they're not complete losers anymore. There is some hope.

It's not a ****** movie about the ****** american dream.

Although I liked the other Rocky movies as well just because Rocky is such a nice guy, they're not anywhere near the quality of part I. Rocky didn't win the Oscar for Best Film by chance.

(copied that from another forum, it's an interesting synopsis of the film)
