Why are you hoping GGG doesn't get the Canelo fight? You don't want to see the best fights? BTW didn't you read the article? GGG still wants all the belts, but he's not superman. These other champs only fight every 6 months for a reason. GGG has been that incredible exception to the rule the last few years, which is one of the reasons he has so many fans, but he's still human. He just fought 12 rounds with a cruiserweight, and at 35 years old I guess his body needs more than 3 months to recover. Maybe if he had KO'd Jacobs, it would be different.

It kind of looks like letting Jacobs weigh in early, then skip the IBF same day weigh-in, has not only made GGG take unnecessary punishment, but ****ed up his entire year's schedule, too. One thing I will agree with the GGG haters on: Tom Loeffler does not have his **** together, at all.

Daniel Jacobs was a cruiserweight on fight night, yet he was able to not only make 160lbs the day before, he was also able to fight a hard 12-round fight and make it through the final bell.

Well Imma say your completely wrong here. I think Mayweather VS Connor does a little over a million buys. This fight is a joke and real boxing fans know this so I don't see them paying for this. Most casual fans don't wanna get ripped off again like they did on the Mayweather VS Manny fight so I don't see them paying for this garbage. I think only hardcore Mayweather fans and some Connor fans will buy this. That's why I don't see this fight doing more buys than Canelo VS g string. I see that fight doing 1.3-1.5 million buys

Alvarez's biggest headline event did 600k PPV buys (Floyd and Cotto carried the other events), Golovkin's biggest headline event did maybe 150K (still find it suss that Tom Loeffler is the only person corroborating that the PPV numbers are accurate), yet you think that Alvarez vs Golovkin could end up doing 1.5m PPV buys? lol

So what's going on with the IBF mandatory? If the IBF calls the mandatory GGG has to fight Johnson. Golden Boy is Johnson's promoter. They can petition the IBF to call the fight and really fuck over GGG

Pretty sure that Johnson-Derevyanchenko or Johnson-Lemieux is the final IBF eliminator, and the timing of that could have the mandatory called by September/October.

Golovkin's manager came out a second ago and said there are still closed negotiations taking place, and you shouldn't trust unofficial information.

I think we all have too much time on our hands.

Today is April 11th; the alleged date was for just over two months from now and, from Abel Sanchez's own mouth, Golovkin is still so beat up from the Jacobs fight that he doesn't see him even being in the gym for another 2 weeks.

No idea how flexible with the EXPO date Kazakhstan is, but you'd basically be talking about Golovkin having a 6-week camp at this point (before then jumping in for another camp to prep for the Alvarez fight).

If the choice is carrying Floyd-McGregor or carrying Alvarez-ChavezJr II or Alvarez-Golovkin, there's not a single cable satellite operator that'll choose to not carry the Floyd fight, lol.

TV Azteca will likely choose to air Alvarez-ChavezJr II, but I doubt that Televisa would pass on Floyd-McGregor to also air Alvarez-ChavezJr II

Canelo has a contract with hbo dummy. Floyd only works with showtime....
